I’m not a chef but a fairly good personal cook. This knife was exactly what I needed at a very good price. I use it mostly for rib and eye meat f round beef roasts and it preforms wonderfully. Great balance and it keeps an edge for longer than my other knives. It’s a great size for all slicing applications aswell this includes up to a Hefty 5 rib roast.

great knives they are well balanced sharp and fit your hand well will be ordering another set with the damascus steel in the future The only issue I had was the shipping box they came in they did not use any package material so the knifes were not in the box they were strewn about and the box they came in was damaged other than that good knives

I love this set. The only criticism is the angle of the block. It is hard to push the block against the backsplash due to the angle. I cannot remove the top row of knives because they hit the bottom of the upper cabinets. Thanks for asking me.

The magnetic block was way heavier and sturdier than I expected (a good thing!). It was made out of solid wood and very easy to install. Color is also very dark and rich. Perfect contrast to more lighter/neutral colors in the kitchen. I didn't want to drill holes into my cabinet walls so I used a few command strips and they hold up perfect with multiple knives/scissors held on. Great product!

Ordered the Shogun 7" Santoku a few months ago. Beautiful knife. Extremely SHARP!! Took it to work where I do meat prep, used it to butterfly shrimp. I bought this Raikiri Kiritsuke Knife in April 2025 in Canada, and I love it! It was sharp on arrival, but not incredibly so. However a couple of touches up with a diamond honing rod (from Amazon, $29) and it became amazingly sharp. I have used it for a week or so, every day, and no noticeable change. Nice to hold and it looks terrific. A great buy at this price!

These knives are excellent! Beautiful knives but more important is that they are really really sharp, so sharp that you don't even feel it slice through your finger!
They keep their edge as well, I have not had to resharpen yet.
