The best recommendation I can give to a product is to re-purchase it. Why though? The scent profile is one of the best I own. This soap lathers very easily. It offers an excellent layer of protection and stays with you throughout the pass. The slickness cannot be beat. The aftershave balm has the same scent. (Of course) It offers a soothing finish to a 3 pass shave. Or, any shave for that matter. I'm not good at reviews; I hope you like this bundle.

I originally ordered a sample of the Old Goat soap but received an additional sample to my surprise that I cannot quite seem to identify. Both smell very pleasant in my opinion and lather up extremely well as I use approximately a pea size amount in my scuttle to mix up. It lasts me the entire shave with 3 to 4 passes depending on my stubble. There was still a sizeable soap pebble left over and at this rate a sample would last me a while let alone two. I bought this for my Husband for Valentine's Day after seeing it advertised on The Dilley Show. We both love the fragrance so much! My husband loves how it lathers up on the brush, the ease of application and how well it helps him shave. The aftershave lotion smells just as great and my Husband loves how it keeps is face smooth all day! We both highly recommend these products and are looking forward to trying out other scents!

I loaded my new Rubberset shaving brush straight from the Benediction tub. I was able to make a thick and creamy face lather. To really test this soap, I didn't use a pre shave product; I was not disappointed. The razor just glides over your face as this is very slick. I finished my shave with Benediction after shave balm. The fragrance is very pleasing. My wife says that the fragrance is her favorite.

Howdy folks. We'll I got some C&F sandalwood and Amber tallow soap to try today. Boy am I pleased. The scent was mild, yet lingered for the entire shave. I was able to spring up a magnificent larger in about 40 seconds. (I apologize for no bowl pic since I'm a face lather) the shave was pleasant, the Mather thick, slick, and with a single load I got three passes. I deff recommend trying a C&F. Here is loaded brush. And after just 15 seconds of lathering.

First C&F soap for me, the scent in this soap is a very warm floral scent with a touch of sweetness. Not over powering at all and a very pleasant scent for several occasions. I was late to the game with Cooper and French and feel terrible about it! Being a Minnesotan, C&F should have been one of the first artisans I should have tried. Either way, I’m glad I tried them now. I purchased the Relentless set and was blown away by the scent and performance. I was able to smell 5 of C&F other scents and was equally blown away! "Old Goat Aftershave Balm" was a big hit at our Christmas festivities! The guys had them in their "treat" bags. The first comment, upon opening, was: "Ohhh, it's made it America!"
