Harambe System Reviews

Wider and thus more versatile than the competitors, allowing for more movements. Very sophisticated band attachment system and well thought out, enabling micro-adjustments to the band tension for different sized people. On the heavy side, would have preferred high-strength aluminum or some other lighter alloy, as I want to lift the bands, not the bar, particularly on isolation exercises. But, the highest quality materials and workmanship, every bit the quality of gym/club equipment.

These curved rods are excellent. Well designed and professionally finished. They are like all of the Harambe products. With the leadership of Khalid. You cannot go wrong.

The bar is beyond perfect in design, quality and build. This thing is honestly more solid than any Olympic bar I've ever used.

Great bar that feels even better in the hands. Super smooth and enables the movements to be done much more efficiently.

These work great with the smaller bands. I like that I don't have to center them on the longer rods like I used to do.

I use these longer slings with my Harambe handles for dumbbell presses. The slings and bands are the very best - I’ll never lift weights again! Thank you, Harambe!!!

Started using it for.two weeks. I was starting to feel and notice a difference. Last.Saturday I was in a car accident and have bruised ribs. Tried working out light but not a smart idea. Probably be limited for 4-6 weeks

Very good bands. I consider myself a strong person but can't even lift the light green band all the way. I love it.

Very substantial base plate. Plenty of room in the channel for stacking bands or using the biggest bands. Large enough for me to have a shoulder width stance.

I love the belt. Great quality and overbuilt, as are all Harambe products. That's why I bought them, after all. The only downside of the belt is that the black ropes aren't long enough. The other ropes I have (green and blue) are too short and too long, so I ordered the white ropes. I can't wait for them to come in so I can fully explore the belt. I'm in pretty decent shape, and am young enough that I can use the black ropes(though it takes some effort), but I think the white ropes will be a...

I was surprised how heavy and durable the base plate is. It’s design supersedes the X3 bar. I have both and was able to compare.

Sturdy, heavy duty, offers the ideal width for squats. Gives you enough room in multiple directions to stack bands underneath it

These ropes are perfect for doing back and front squats when you want a double loop for more tension. I also occasionally use them for overhead presses.

Haven’t been able to use this yet. Just bought to have the whole set of 38’s. Excellent quality like the rest of Harambe’s bands.

Thes ropes are well made and easy to use. A very ingenious way to attach the bar. Very smooth range of motion as well. Excellent product!

Nice to add some difficulty without changing ropes. Somewhat hard to load with the shortest rope (easier to get the band on the rods, then add the spacers after.)

I have had the original bar and flat rods for a while, the curved rods are nice. For larger bands there is not that much of a difference, but for smaller bands, the curved rods do a better job of keeping the band centered.

These are great for the smaller bands and since I don't use anything wider than a 32" black band anyway, they're perfect for me.

Purchased as a gift for my daughter, an avid fitness buff. She absolutely loves it. Well made. Superb video instruction for free. Thanks for making her Christmas.

The handles are a little bulky and you have to fuss with them a bit to get the band centered in the sling. If it is not centered the lift is uncomfortable.

Extremely solid and well-made. Very robust and stable size, smooth edges to protect bands… a huge upgrade to other baseplates.

This plate is solid and very well built. However, it’s a bit heavy for travel, so I traded it with my son’s lighter version. He loves it because it offers a wider stance, and he being 210 lbs, and 6’3” tall, it is perfect for him.

All products Are high quality and happy with that. It would be nice for the price of almost $1000 you would include exercise book with beginner, intermediate and advanced work outs. To have the limited ones you have listed on web site cheapens the program in my opinion.

I already had the K Handles, but purchased these as well since they are lighter for travel. They are a perfect size and amazing quality as usual.

Just got it today and did my first work out with it. Love it, it’s as great as everything else Harambe puts out. Buy it!

Solid and smooth. No sharp edges like X3 plate. Placement of grooves are great for different exercises. Well thought out.

Unboxed the plate and what a beast. Really like the double cross channels. Smooth and strong as an ox. Love the foot plate.

What a great deal! Quality! I wish this was around when I bought mine. Add the KBar and you’re set.

These ropes are great for me to use with 32” bands on chest press. Creates perfect starting tension for me.

The T-Bar is great! Again this is a great product. This is not a cheap bar. When I use it, I know I'm using a bar and not just a piece of aluminum. I went with the T-Bar because I travel in a small RV and weight matters. I'm hoping to take the T-Bar system with me.

Happy to see these in between rope sizes pop up every now and then. You can never have enough variety for rope sizes to provide progressive overload.

Well made really sturdy bar, the only thing i find tricky is that when i want to doubled a band its a little hard to figured it out but so far really satisfied.

All of the Harambe bands have the look and feel of great quality unlike some cheap versions out there.

Please disregard my previous negative review. Everything needed comes with the bar. After doing a few movements, it's obvious this is a quality piece of equipment. Well done.

Build quality is exceptional, but you'll rack up $ buying a set for each rope length. It's hard to go back to swapping all 4 out every time you want to change lengths

I was on the fence about purchasing these, but I'm glad I did. The price is right and it helps a lot. Less thinking and more working out!
