I ordered my first set about a month ago, which consisted of rougher grits. The 36, 60, and 120s were so good, I went ahead and ordered the intermediate and fine grit "sets". These belts absolutely rip compared to the eBay special belts and several 3M belts I'd ordered before. I have 5 large knives on the same belts, and the cutting hasn't slowed down much if at all. I wish I'd found these years ago!

I love the Red Label edge core belts. I used the heavy grit for large stock removal. The belts help the piece stay cool and last through multiple projects. The 120 grit and higher help crisp up the bevels and shine up those lines. I highly recommend them to any knife maker.

Have only used 2 grits the 36 grit and the 120 grit. Am learning to be a Blacksmith, used these two grits to put bevels on the knives. I use Horse shoe Rasp for the knife, When I stretch out a Railroad Spike easy to grind a sharp end to make a pigtail meat turner.

I've been bladesmithing for a little over a year now. After a couple of months I upgraded to a 2x72 grinder. Ordered some Red Label belts off Amazon and the rest is history. I've given a few knives to friends and they ask what they can do to pay me back. I asked them to get me some grinding belts, preferably Red Label. A couple have given me other brands and they fall way short. Red Label for life!

Tony , this is what I use your belts for, grind a bevel on the horse shoe rasp, and to help shape the tines on the fork, sharpen the end of the pig tail meat turner..

I can't say enough about these belts! They're awesome! I couldn't believe it when I saw the pile of metal dust adding up while using the 400 grit belt! A 400 grit belt that actually removes metal instead of just rubbing on it is mind blowing! My old aluminum oxide belts are in the trash and I never want to see one in my shop again!

I shaped and beveled 9 AEB-L blade both pre and post heat treat with 36, 60, then 120 grit ceramic’s and the belts worked great! There is still life for that many more again.

When I put a new belt on my grinder, when I put the steel against it the spark shower lights up my shop. I can normally grind two medium sized knives on one belt. And there's still usability for light touch up grinding after that.

Had some big cleavers to make which required a lot of stock removal on some 3V. Very happy with the removal rate, heat level, and lifespan of the zirconia 40 grits for this. Have also used the 80's and 120's a bit but haven't wore any of those out yet. I'll be ordering some more in the 36 grit.

The scalloped belts are a real game changer! They allow for the easy shaping of the various contours in handle materials without the worry of the belt edge cutting into the material. The variety pack gives you one of each of the popular and most used grits. I added the 1" wide scalloped belts to help me get into the smaller curved areas of my knife handles. These belts are a game changer! After fighting with cheap belts that wear out and burn material, I finally upgraded to Edgecore and what a difference! They made short work of profiling the blade and handle of a 14" chef's knife without overheating, even on a fixed-speed 2x42 grinder. I am definitely a Red Label fan now.

I use the 120 grit silicon carbide belts for final shaping of stone tesserae fitted into mosaics. My mosaics are fitted so closely that grout is unnecessary. The belts allow me to quickly but accurately shape the stone (various types of marble and other materials) to fit.

Just used my new 1x18 leather belt on the Ken Onion Work Sharp Blade Grinding Attachment. I am also excited to try my new 1x30 leather belt as well. The best came with instructions and a full bar of polishing compound. The first test went great and I am impressed by the finish. These belts will help with the removal of any metal flakes that remain on the edge after sharpening and it will polish the edge for that finish we all love to post and provide to our customers. The EdgeCore Ceramic belts are my go to when shaping and profiling blades. They cut like a hot knife through butter but they also have great integrity at the edges and don't break down like other high performance belts i've tried that leave me feeling blue... I highly recommend!

34 Foot SeaRay Express- I had to take 1/2” off a fiberglass coated 2 x 4. The 36 Grit made the job easy. The belts are 1/2 the price of store bought ones and are 10 times better. These are the only brand I use in boat repairs.
