I use the 120 grit silicon carbide belts for final shaping of stone tesserae fitted into mosaics. My mosaics are fitted so closely that grout is unnecessary. The belts allow me to quickly but accurately shape the stone (various types of marble and other materials) to fit.

Just used my new 1x18 leather belt on the Ken Onion Work Sharp Blade Grinding Attachment. I am also excited to try my new 1x30 leather belt as well. 34 Foot SeaRay Express- I had to take 1/2” off a fiberglass coated 2 x 4. The 36 Grit made the job easy. The belts are 1/2 the price of store bought ones and are 10 times better.

I've tried a couple belts now for the rougher grits and these have held up the longest by far. Once the belt gets "dulled" grinding metal, I use it for shaping wood handles and it works just as good.

I have both the 80 & 120 Zirconia rolls, they are both aggressive sanders and will last a long time with hardwoods. However, for some sanding applications they are a little too aggressive in sanding. I will be adding the Aluminum Oxide rolls for times that one needs to be a little gentler in the sanding process. Of course, a drum sander is not a wide belt sander and one can’t expect the same results.

This was my first time using this product. Admittedly, I was using much cheaper belts before, but I’m extremely impressed by the performance of these belts! The grain is very consistent and removes metal so much faster that the previous belts, they last MUCH longer and don’t build nearly as much heat!

These are great for a consistent cut! If it's a finished product, sharpening or stepping down the grits, this structured abrasive provides consistency that is not found in regular abrasives. I always have a few on hand! Who doesn't like a crisp cut every time?

Look no further when you need to reduce weight or take a lot of material off FAST! These Edge Core belts are the cat meow when it comes to stock removal and keeping you steel cool. I've save 3 hours on this piece already in comparison to other Ceramic belts that I've used in the past. Time is money. I'll be spending a bit more for a better product. Full time blacksmith and bladesmith for 9 years, these are my only supplier for all my belts. I love that they sell 24 grit for aggressive grinding. Here you can see me with one of 19 tomahawks I just forged and finished. I use red label belts all the way up to 120 grit on the blade and poll and then finish with surface conditioning belts.
The handle is made from hickory, a very tough wood to grind and I use the multi purpose 36 grit belts on all my handles. I almost exclusively at this point ...

I absolutely love these belts! They're great for smoothing highs and lows, even at pretty course grits. In the case of the "Super Fine", they can blend structured abrasive lines very well! They're worth every penny!

Here's a knife I recently finished using Red Label Conditioning belts. It started as a 1095 blank and has a Honduras Mahogany handle. I ordered and used the 3 pack set of belts which consist of course, medium and fine. My next order will consist of the super fine belts.

EdgeCore Premium Ceramic belts are GREAT. I ground the bevel on these 3 knives (preheat treat) in 15 minutes with a 40 grit and then touched them up with a 120. The ceramic belts are well worth the extra cost.
