The wet/dry sandpaper I've been buying from Red Label is a superior product. Compared to other products, it lasts longer, cuts more effectively for each grit and tends not to load up as quickly. This sand paper has taken days off of my projects and enabled me to achieve better results partly because I'm less likely to give up with 'good enough' when I can see the results of my effort materialize more quickly than with other comparable products. I am a fan.

Fantastic quality belt and abrasive for a great price. I do a lot of machine work & metal fabrication. I’ve found that you save money buying quality abrasives because they last substantially longer than the cost difference of multiple cheaper belts/discs. I had my skepticism about these belts but oh my does this save on hand sanding. Cuts down the low grits so you can hand sand only in the finer grits. Very nice!

Didn't expect a whole lot of the aluminum oxide belts based on my experience with other brands and to say I was pleasantly surprised doesn't quite articulate the superior performance of this product! Cuts clean, cuts even, cuts relatively cool, and just keeps on cutting! Competitive pricing and it saves me time/money?! I like to think my work speaks for itself, but my work can't tell you how quality consumables make making easier and more enjoyable which is why I'm attempting put that into words...

Using fresh high grit belts for finishing or in my case, sharpening, you’ll get a great finished product that will slice like no other! This blade, started with 180 and stopped at 1000, for a razor edge, that sliced through hair, newspaper and soft fruit like it was machined.

Pictured is a 24 grit Edgecore ceramic belt on my surface grinder. These belts are absolute beasts when it comes to grinding steel, I just haven't found a belt that will last as long and keep cutting. Awesome product.

I loved using the edge core belts I started out on a 4x36 sander using them and they made a world of difference I recently upgraded to a 2x72 grinder and these belts will hog off material! I use primarily red label abrasives for all my knife grinding. The ceramic belts last a really long time and are great for all my shaping and bevel grinding. The aluminum oxide belts are a great price! And can really polish things up nicely.

After using regular 400 grit ao belts I tried a back of these belts and what a difference. I was able to get a nice smooth consistent 400 grit finish on the bevel part of my blades. Excellent product!

If we're sharing honest opinions, I can't really tell much of a quality difference of 2x72 belts from any of the abrasives companies. What separates Red Label from the others is that they're typically a bit cheaper, they're more one on one with the customer, which I greatly appreciate, and I prefer the way their products are packaged. For me, it's all about the small details.

I needed to shine up some raw stainless steel for this knife. I saw it on Amazon so I decided to go to the company directly. I was told that they don't like to sell this product because it does not track properly on my 4 x 24 belt sander. I was looking for 600 and 800 grit . Anyways I spent 2 hours on each side of the knife. I'm sure it could have looked like a mirror but it's outside and a piece of the yard. This belt sander product worked very well in my opinion. It worked well for me.

I’m a beginner bladesmith still rockin’ a 1x30 belt grinder right now til I can upgrade to a 2x72, but these 1x30 belts from red label abrasives sure do make it easier to work with! The grinding time was reduced significantly with their selection of coarse belts and I was able to get way cleaner plunge and grind lines. Highly recommend these if you are still using a 1x30!

As a new knife maker, all I have at the moment is a 1x30 grinder, which feels kinda hopeless when you’re trying to finish a knife with big box store abrasives. Red labels 1x30 belts have been a GAME CHANGER. I’ve finished 5x as many blades since and am a red label customer for life now. I’ve tried other brands and these have been the best by far.

I purchased these belts to replace my worn out sunmight belts. These red label belts are more durable then the sunmights. The picture is a new red label belt and one after post heat treat edge grinding 14 blades of D2 tool steel. It still has grit and cuts smoothly after all that hard grinding. I will definitely be switching all of my sanding belts over to red labels.
