I work with nonferrous metals like copper, bronze and silver. Some pieces require smooth finishing on curved surfaces. These flex belts in the 320-400 grit range work well when blending transitions, especially on inside curves. Very little cleanup after final pass. They hold up over time with little grit loss or loading up. Best part is that the splice joint lasts a long time in this humid climate.

Great belts! I had purchased belts from a different supplier/maker and their seams were absolutely horrible. Not only that, their grits were inconsistent, and had almost no longevity to them. I prefer this belt vs the leather as I don't need to remove it from the machine when I am finished using it. This belt doesn't stretch like leather and performs just about as well.

Super fast super strong. However, I thought I was ordering 60 grit and somehow the default 24 grit came back up and that’s what they sent me. To send it back and order new would cost almost as much as the Belts themselves in shipping cost. 24 grit in woodworking is not too useful, but it sure does rip through the wood.

No complaints. Great website. Easy order with full tech info to assist purchase. I use ultra high grit 6x48 belts so Red Label's low bounce seams makes me a repeat customer. If anyone ever invents a zero bounce seam it'd be awesome. Chose Red Label because other companies had too much bounce in their belt seams.

Got these belts to replace the originals that came with the Ken Onion Blade Grinding Attachment and they work great! I only sharpen knives currently and the grit progression is good (350 and up). I love this leather 2x72 stropping belt. It has completely changed my sharpening game. After finishing the blade, I raised the bur with a 240-grit belt, then straight to the strop. In seconds at a very low speed, it was razor sharp and polished. What a time saver.

I have a Ken Onion Work Sharp that uses these 1x18" belts. Some assorted belt packs are sold in different grits for sharpening. I find the coarse belts are too aggressive in removing metal for knives that have a decent edge. It is my feeling that these 220 grit are just right to start the re-sharpening process. That means I skip 80, 100, and 120 grits that are out there. After the 220, 320,800, and then sometimes 1500. Final passes on a leather honing belt gives an excellent edge. I hav...
