these are a must have to finish or clean up knives. I like the fine and medium the most but the course does come in handy at times on metal that really needs to be cleaned.

I just bought a new Smith rechargeable sharpener but the finest belt they supply is a 600 grit which is not as keen as I'd like my edges before I strop. I bought the 1000 grit but will get the 3000 as soon as it is back in stock. The Red Label 1/2" x 12" Red Label belts work very well on the Smith belt sharpeners.

I found out about Red Label while watching Forged In Fire. I use the flap disk to sharpen lawn mower blades. I’ve been in the lawn care industry for 35 years and have sharpened thousands of blades. I’ve used bench grinders, a Foley blade grinder, side grinder w/abrasive wheel, to finally the flap disk. Your ceramic disk removes the metal quickly even on the worst beaten blades without overheating the blade and last longer than any other disk I’ve used. Great product!!

I was happy to locate the extra fine grit disc for my project. I bought 3000 & 4000 and they worked great, and they could be reused. I would like to get some 5000 & 6000 grit if that is possible. I’m using it to polish resin for a glass like surface. Thanks!

Really enjoy using these belts! I compared these to combat abrasives' J-Flex ceramic belts and I've got to say, I like these a lot better. The bidirectional stitching/patch on these belts seems much less obtrusive than the belts provided by combat. They seem to have a long life and work very quickly, my own reason for the 4 stars comes from the belt's tendency to bow outwards ever so slightly making it hard to get a perfect grind if you're not careful. I purchased a 1 X 42 leather stropping belt for my belt sander. After a couple days the belt developed a bump at the seam. I called in and they immediately replaced the belt. I actually ask if they would (for a charge) upgrade it to a 2 X 42 which they did.
I've received it in two days and have been using it a fair amount during the past week or so and it is just what I was looking for. Great company, I will be buying my belts from them now.

I have been using Red Label Abrasives sanding belts on my 6x89" sander for a couple of years now. They outlast the OEM name brand belts that are more expensive. The use oof a good abrasive sanding cleaning stick periodically makes them last even longer. I would recommend this product.

I'm using your belts - 1 inch by 30 inches on a cheapo harbor freight 1 inch belt sander - to sharpen knives.
I use the 1000 grit first, then the 1500 and then the 2000 grit belts - all from your company - best quality I've tried - and after honing with a steel and then a leather to remove the burr completely.
