After having 2 other brands of guitar wireless systems, I tried CFG because I was so happy with the Guitar Strap. I purchased the SonikSphere 5.8 (and carrying case). The first time I used the unit after charging it, it died within 2 hours. After consulting with Customer Service, they determined that I damaged the batteries because of using too powerful of a USB Charging port. So far they are great. Still gaging the bass output because it seemed really strong at first. But that might just be the particular song. The sound quality is phenomenal and has headroom amd I can hear my mix spread out the way I intended. The frequency sweep is everything they advertise.. its that good and just wipes the floor with my previous go-to AKG's. The comfort and fit is superb amd high-end.. I will definitely be buying at least one more- these are my new baseline monitor headphones...

The first pair of CF-80 that I received was faulty. One of the units would not take a charge. I reached out to CFG to inform them and immediately received a response from Audrey. She talked me through a method to reset the CF-80'S to the factory default. When that didn't work she said don't worry we're going to send you another set. I must be honest. The folks at Cable Free Guitars are extraordinary. I'll not mention any names, but she knows who she is. I ordered a strap from CFG several weeks ago, but it never arrived. I choose not to assign any blame to any party as to why it didn't. It just didn't come. So, I contacted this wonderful young lady at CFG and explained the mix-up. While I haven't tried it in the studio yet - I did give it to my guitarist for a road-test. He's sold, and I may need to get another one as he may keep it :-) I'm looking forward to tracking thru it soon. I might even try some Hammond organ thru it for good measure. I can’t praise it enough… First, I discovered it works really well with my guitar and amp. Then, I tried it with a digital piano and it works just as well. Then, I thought it would be cool if I plugged the receiver into the recorder instead of the amp and OMG that works too! Now I don’t have to use a 20 foot cord to track the piano parts! Haven’t had the opportunity to use them in a live concert, but they (I purchased 2, so far) worked great in rehearsal. Won’t know for sure until our next concert on the 18th. Really like the no-static feature, although I need to put some space between them initially due to feedback. But they seemed to settle in later.
