The strap is very comfortable. As a bass player I deal with different weights of my bass guitars. They vary from a few ounces to well over a pound. The strap distributes the weight evenly. The width of the strap keeps it from digging into my shoulder. Hope the strap becomes available in a brown color.

I have two basses, one in standard tuning and one tuned down a half step. I initially bought two straps and two shoulder cushions from a local music store. The cushion kept slipping and was very uncomfortable. I saw an ad for the CFG strap and decided to buy a couple of them. Boy, I am glad that I did. They are soooo comfortable. I had an issue with the first Sonikspheres sent out and customer service was a joy to work with. I sent in a video of the issue, CFG said 'Oh no, that's wonky', and sent out a new batch the same day. So far, so good with the new units and I am so happy not to have a cable hanging around my ankles. For my playing at home everything has been great so far.
