I really like the pot! It's made nice and clean. I still have to find out which tea I will use it for. Probably rock teas and medium oxidized teas. I love the look of an antic cauldron. The patterns and the details absolutly marvelous! The quantity of water is exactly the same as the descriptions, not always easy to calculate when the height of the piece is reducing after firing. Nice work!

Correspond perfectly to what I bought, it's a really fine piece of art. The delivery was smooth and well protected. The pouring feels very satisfying and I've no problem during it contrary to my last tea pot that sometimes blocked. This "Guava" teapot was made with great care and fine craftsmanship. The handle and spout are perfectly aligned. It pours very well with a nice steady stream. Tea never dribbles from between the lid and pot because the lid has a good seal. As an unexpected bonus, in spite of the description for this teapot saying that its filter was "7 holes", I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it was actually made with a ball filter having 38 holes, which of course, makes it pour so much better.

I fall in love with this teapot every time I look at it. There's something architectural about it: the cement color recalls mid-century brutalist structures, while the curve of the handle echoes Eero Saarinen's work. The bamboo engraving adds a complimentary traditional touch to a boldly contemporary piece. Functionally, it's comfortable to hold, and the pour has a sharp stop. I couldn't be happier!

I really love this pot! The thicker walls and strong shapes in the design make the pot feel very dignified and sturdy. At first I wasn’t sure if I liked the knobs on the lid handle, but they make an excellent grip when you’re picking it up. The clay is very porous. The texture is nice and smooth but with a bit of bumpiness from the grog in the clay. The design is very balanced. Very elegant and ancient looking calligraphy. Perfect lid fit. Nice pour.

Love this pot. It’s much thinner and lighter than I thought it would be ana pours super fast, about 6 seconds. Good for delicate teas. I decided to dedicate it to Dan Congs since the Zhuni clay will concentrate the aroma and the combo of the thin clay and quick pour will prevent over-steeping. Dan Congs are easy to over-steep in my experience since I do so very high leaf ratios with flash steeps. This works well for that. Love the flat shape too. Easy loading. Very happy.

I was happy to see that the shipping package was well wrapped in bubble. Upon opening I was pleased at the nice presentation box and cloth bag the pot was wrapped in. The pot was undamaged and has performed well in numerous infusions. The lid fits well and the pot is pleasing to the eye. I will be looking to add another pot of different clay in the future and would not hesitate to consider another pot from Yinchen.

Little cutie! For that price it's a very well made teapot: the clay results silky to the touch, beautiful colour, smell and also the signs of a handmade work. About the technical aspects: it works very good too! Whereas Zhuni clay is the less porous compared to the others Zisha clays (Zi Ni, Duan Ni, Lu Ni, Dicaoqing...), it can remove a lot of the smoky taste of a tea despite the generous amount of tea leaves in a small amount of water.
