A stunning Yixing pear teapot. This was my first purchase here and I'm impressed. The craftsmanship behind this pot is perfection. The aesthetic, balance and pour are great. I love it! As far as volume goes it does the job for one or two. I took it for a spin on a dan cong and it brewed a great cup of tea. This is awesome teapot, wonderfully made and works great. The clay is fenomenous and the crafting of this teaware is really unique, works as I wanted for hong cha - mute some of the harsher notes and let me brew my tea on higher temperature without getting too bitter, yet high notes are mostly preserved (its hong jiang po ni in the end, thats what its meant to do). Beautiful teapot and also very handy. I was surprised by how light it is. When I poured out water from it the first time i was shocked how smooth and silent yet also fast the pour is. So far I've tried many teas with it, even unusual ones like Japanese kamairi cha.
