Wow. This is my first Yixing clay pot, and I couldn't be happier. I love everything about it - the classic shape, the feel, the clay (what a wonderful, 'living', slightly 'gnarly' surface!), the craftmenship, the pour, the taste of the tea brewed in it. I have started to use it for darker, roasted Oolongs, and I really love that pairing.

I've had this little gem of a pot for a good few months and it has become one of my favorite pieces of teaware! The feel and pour is very balanced, and the spout is near perfect despite the tiny size! The gong chun texture is very nice in the hands and I really like the rougher look of this pot. I loved how the Hexagonal Zhuni performed so well from day one so I wanted to have another aged zhuni but taller for another type of tea. After trying darker and lighter oolongs in this SiTing, I decided to keep it for lighter/greener type of oolongs. In the photo, the tea was a mid-roast DongDing.

I am a potter but I can’t make teapots like this ! :) Love the texture of the clay. That was the first thing I was drawn to.. also the shape was something new to me that was pleasing to the eye. I appreciate the simplicity of the pot and the performance is great. Only wish would be to have clay straining holes instead of the metal one but hey, no complaints just a preference thing 🙏🏼

Being a tea lover, I must say, this teashop is absolutely amazing! I fell in love with the teapot I purchased from here. The service was fantastic, and the delivery was speedy. The tea pots they offer are truly unique pieces of art. The only downside is that I can't read the poem went with the teapot since it's written in old Chinese. Overall, it's a wonderful teashop for tea enthusiasts like me!

Absolutely beautiful pot. The pictures do not do it justice. Sturdy, wonderfully tactile grainy texture, pours evenly. It doesn’t seem to rob any flavor even on the first real brew right after seasoning either. I’ve dedicated this pot to Liu Bao tea but honestly wish I had another to dedicate to another tea type because it’s a joy to brew in.

WOW!!! Never had such a good experience with drinking black tea as with this teapot! The teapots build quality is excellent and it's capability to handle black tea especially "lapsang" teas is phenomenal!!! What an excellent teapot, I got it to brew mainly white tea, but I've been testing it out with different teas and it handles them quite well!!! I really do recommend this one as an all purpose pot if you want one, if not dedicate it to one tea and enjoy the wonderful teapot!!!

Absolutely a perfect teapot! It can change the taste of tea in a way I couldn't believe it was possible. The tea result more creamy and with a strange "caramel" flavour which give the tea a special final taste. It has a beautiful sound too. It's the best teapot I've ever owned.

The minerality it adds is like...really good neutral mineral water? It totally doesn't overpower. Absolutely adore this stunning yixing teapot! It was surprisingly light compared to what it looks like, making it an intriguing illusion. My first brew was an aged white tea and tasted delicious. It enhanced the sweetness. My only comment would be the spout as the poor is a bit more “wild and rough” but it does belong to the pots’ character and greatly enhances it 😁 I will definitely be purchasing more!

This is one of my favourite teapots in my collection. It has beautiful craftsmanship, meticulous detail, and a very comfortable grip. Perhaps the most beautiful part is the handle. I only use it with fresh shengs. The size is excellent, 150ml is best for one or two people.

My first Yixing teapot and am very happy. Master Gao has been very helpful in answering all my questions too. I’m a newbie in tea drinking and tea soup from this new teapot brings out flavours that I’ve never tasted in my other clay teapots. I’ve managed to feel the sweet and fruity notes from Phoenix oolong MLX. I could also hear the high pitch bell ringing sound when I tapped the lid on the handle. The fifth teapot I've bought and the fifth joy I've received ahahah. Just WOW! It can round A LOT harsh notes such as bitterness and toasted notes and can reduce astrignency without cutting off a lot of the sweet flavour. It looses heat quicker compared to other zhuni teapot (Xiao Mei Yao and Zhaozhuang) avoiding getting fingers burnt ahahah And yes, it's porous due to duan ni clay. It's a particular clay. This clay is AMAZING! It destroys every single harsh note. I over-brewed a green tea in it and the taste of tea was still sweet and absolutely without any sign of bitterness or astringency. So beware and be aware of what tea you put in this teapot (clay). It's extremely porous! Great clay! And great teapot with a beautiful painting! The Chinese characters on the back are "清雅" which mean "Elegant/stylish"
