I recently received a rower machine I purchased which I love but I am yet to receive a response to my email enquiry I sent to the Johnson fitness team. The reason for the poor review is because the 2 emails I sent asking for the rower warranty have been ignored. I purchased an expensive rower and given the price I made a warranty enquiry and I have not received a response which is very disappointing.

It's only OK. What isn't explained to you by Johnson Fitness is that the belt on these units WILL wear out, and fairly quickly. So once your parts warranty expires, expect to pay for the belt replacement and the call out fee ($120) each time. There are much better bikes out there - more robust, more durable. I suspect making these parts as flimsy as they do is part of the Johnson business model - keeps the revenue coming in for them and there outsourced maintenance provider. I'd avoid this bike ...

Delivery took alot longer then expected and was hard to follow where it was and when it would arrive, the build of it was painfull just around the wiring and trying not to get it to pinch wire in locations but still have the plugs done up correctley, also the machine just takes to long if you just want to free style and not use any of the programs or set walk/runs, my screen also gliches which om not sure weather i have pinched a wire or this os jjust normal

Generally the cycle itself is of good quality. Some initial warranty problems had to be fixed though. Haven't as yet used it until all the problems are fixed. Specifically, The console communications is rubbish. My guess is the the software is very fragile, and will only work under ideal combinations of hardware. As yet, it is not functional.
