My wife and I had been searching everywhere for salak ever since we visited Indonesia and fell in love with these unique fruits. They are basically impossible to find outside of Asia so we were so excited to find out they were available from Miami Fruits. Cutting into the passion fruit and smelling the wonderful fragrance brought me back to living in Australia. It’s Rambutan season!!! So fresh, tropical and absolutely delicious. The fruit arrived jam packed (large box), bright and alien like, so fun and beautiful. I often crave tropical fruits that I can't find at my local supermarket. After some googling, I stumbled across Miami Fruit. Ordered the large mystery box based of its affordability. The box shipped pretty fast (FL -> CA) 2 days. The fruit were neatly tucked away. Only hitch is that any CA customers have to accept the risk of confiscation by the California Department of Agriculture. **I've ordered twice and neither have been confiscated** Definitely reccomend

We just love the mamey sapote from miamifruit.org! We get them weekly during the season. As fruitarians, we find it sooo nourishing and energizing. Our preferred way of eating it is sprinkled with lemon or, especially, lime juice. This results in an absolutely delicious sweet and slightly sour taste combination.

I've ordered several times from MiamiFruit in the past and I've never been disappointed in the quality of the fruit I've received. The shipping is always fast and packaged well. These bananas were great. Its interesting how many different varieties of bananas there are and the differences in taste versus what you get in at the grocery store.

Great fun trying out all these unusual fruits. Some we loved, others were just off and unusual--which made it interesting. It was easy to use the handy online ID section to figure out what each fruit was--and how to eat it. Would definitely order again; it made a lovely gift package.

I never realized that the grocery store bananas are so bland! I bought the banana variety box and was pleased to see 4 varieties of bananas. Each variety ripened at different times. I am so pleased with this box that I am now awaiting another box!!

I love tropical fruits and since I didn't want to wait for Sugar Apple, I decided to try the Lisa Atemoya and it did not disappoint. The fruit arrived in great condition (packaged very well). The fruit only need a few days to ripen, were just the right amount of sweetness and I enjoyed every one of them.

All of the fruit was amazing I just finished up with the Rose Apples and I loved them. I will be ordering again soon, but I am creating a budget and have to be able to eventually fit Miami Fruit into that budget. This is my third order I think and I’m so happy with it yet again. It always takes a second to the r here but that makes sense. I’ve had such great experiences trying different things that I can’t get here as well as sharing my fruit with loved ones. It’s awesome! I love having the opportunity to eat a variety of bananas rather than the large, blander, Cavendish. It takes me back to fresh produce I’ve enjoyed in Costa Rica and the Philippines. These are not available locally, and they are shipped directly to my door and well-packed.

It was so delicious! It had a thick, cake-like texture and the taste resembled that of cheesecake. Unfortunately, I learned that I'm allergic to it (and have been allergic to avocado... tragedies). But, I offered the rest to my friends and they all absolutely loved it, too! So delicious and so versatile.

We bought this after seeing it on Weird Explorer on YouTube. There were I think 7 different varieties of banana. We were able to identify most of them but a couple we weren't 100% sure. All of them were interesting and really different from a cavendish. The best were the mysore, or at least what we assume was mysore. This was my first time trying this fruit. It tasted a little like sugary sweet potato mixed with a hint of corn and a few other nuanced flavors. Very rich and decadent texture. I waited to eat it when it was very soft. It was not dry like I expected. Very creamy almost like avocado. Loved it! Definitely recommend trying this one. There was a problem with two of the fruits and Miamifruit took care of it quickly.

The Chocolate Pod was great. My girlfriend always likes the yellow dragonfruit. I really enjoyed trying the Black Sapote for the first time. It was like chocolate coffee pudding. You might have to make a smoothie with it if you like things very sweet but I thought it was awesome. All the tropical fruit is great to have when we get the box.

I love trying new fruit and this is a great way to do it. The fruit was fresh and ripe (or almost ripe). The one negative I will say is you are told you can make a request of fruit in season, but I have not experienced a fulfilled request. This is my second variety box; the fruit I requested was still listed as available and it never was in my box. It just seems that the variety boxes are standard according to size box and shipping. My box matched the picture on the website.
