I never saw this before, but this has an ingenious design that makes flipping sosaties!! It’s made very well, with its stainless steel design. I’ve tried in on the braai and it simplifies the cooking process makes it super easy to flip over your meat. This is a game changer if you like to braai! I highly recommend!!

This is a ver solidly built wood splitter. You aren’t going to split 1m logs into kindling in this, but it has no problem handing +- 30cm pieces which are typically the type of logs I break down for kindling so I expect this to work just fine for my needs. The build of this splitter is very rugged. It needs to be secured to a solid structure. I have this one mounted to a heavy post. Depending on the wood you are splitting, the effort greatly varies. Pine planks fly right along, while dryer hardwood require a bit more effort. After you do a few you might find you like it better a bit higher or lower. I set mine a bit on the high side so I could put my weight and gravity to better use, lol. Very cool splitter.

I was a bit worried that this might be great in theory and lacking in practice, but not so! This thing is solid. The bar is long enough to get decent leverage for splitting and thick enough for strength. The unit bolts to the wall and then drives a blade through the wood being split. A massive bolt forms the hinge and you provide the muscle. Works great on well dried wood.

The splitter arrived early, it's SOLID, no instructions, but the provided picture of the item installed made that obvious. I mounted ours on a big piece of plank so that it was portable. It works well on short dry wood.

This has made splitting kindling and small pieces of wood easier on the back compared to a axe and hatchet free hand splitting it. Just need to raise and lower it to the height that best suits the average height of the average people that will be using it.

You can quickly learn to control the temperature, and that results in perfectly cooked food. Fish can come out like a cross between roasting and smoking - wonderful for salmon. Steaks cook slowly enough to melt fat and fall apart like a roast. I've never been able to do this on an open braai or weber. I use hardwood charcoal and you can close all the vents when you're done, the fire goes out, and you have fuel for the next fire. Awesome cooking tool!

Empty nester. Kids all grown up. Even a normal size braai is too big to use for a couple pieces of chicken and a hamburger patty. This Kamado is excellent for just me and my wife. I even successfully was able to smoke a pork shoulder. It's a very sturdy product. Word of caution, it is heavy. I don't think this would make a very good camping companion lol

First kamodo and I love it. So much nicer than regular braai like a weber. I never was much for the massive braais so this size is ideal for me. Can do everything for my small family I need to do. It does require an elevated stand of some sort to be at a normal cooking height. I opted for a large chunk of wood instead of building a table and so far I’m liking that as well.

I'm heavily impressed with this grill. The heavy construction holds heat well and I can leave it outside without fear of it getting knocked over. The color and design fits well with any outdoor style and stays subtle when not in use. Anyone complaining about charcoal doesn't know how. It came in handy for a recent get together, after nraaiing there was plenty of heat to make tasters and late night snacks.

It was easy to put together even with minimal instructions, and arrived packaged well and in good condition. I purchased the 40cm version, this is very small, which makes it portable. It would be good for a household with limited space, or only cooking for a few people. I didn't have any problems getting it going and maintaining the temperature I wanted.
