Love surfing this board on small clean glassy days. I'm 47, just under 6 foot, 71KG and very much an intermediate surfer. My previous go-to was 32L. I bought the 36L 6'1 Jetstream+ so I could have a bit more volume and hopefully catch a few more waves. So far I've had 3 sessions with it and I'm super happy. It seems just as easy to turn as my old board, I can duck it just as easily, but it seems to pick up more waves and go better n the "slop". I haven't tried it in anything over 4 foot yet, but it seems to handle a steep take-off better than ...

I've had this board for weeks but haven't had a chance to surf it until the other day. Im a 63 yr old bloke who spent most of last year out of the water with back issues. Surfed a bit this summer but seemed to only get waves and enjoy myself on my longboard, could not get decent waves on my short board at all.

supeeerrr buoyant!!! easy to catch waves and paddle out. i thought sizing down from 8’0 to 6’8 would be a struggle but it’s honestly not that hard as long as you keep on going out there and familiarise yourself with the board. and since this board is smaller, it gives me a boost of confidence and ease to paddle far out there.

I have a spinal injury and am 50 but this is my second foamy I was struggling on my 8ft and then found this brand and went the 9ft and it is the best. I can paddle super easy, catch plenty of waves....just need to get the perfect swell and practice downward dog some more (my popup with my back injury) and all will be sweet. Most of the Nauru Surf Club boards have been donated or bought with donations from generous donors. Our Gnarloo boards are the toughest by far. Some of our Gnarloos are more than 8 years old and have stood the test of many, many kids learning or continuing to Surf. Many other brands have fallen by the wayside with separation of inner and outer layers, but not the Gnarloos. Thanks Global from all the surfing kids of Nauru.

The board is more then I could have hoped for. I bought the 8' Critical Slide Wavemaster 5000 SLX which has a buoyancy of 78lt. I can catch a ripple or when the surf is bigger lets say 3ft, it has a performance of a short board. The Epoxy construction makes it light to carry and it's perfect for beginners and or people like me. :-) Love it!

I've been surfing for 18 years, surfed all over the world and have ridden pyzels, channel islands, dhd's, Bradley's and more and this goes just as good as any of them!
Goes sick when it's 1 foot and goes just as good when it's 6 foot (haven't had any bigger waves on it yet), the construction is holding up well and the performance is great! Paddles well, really fast off the take off, whippy through turns but also holds well when you put it on rail.

I have the 5’10 ChiChi and it was my first sub-6’0 thruster. I’m a longboard and single- fin/twinny midlength girly so I was a bit nervous about how I’d go - but it is so stable and fun I felt confident right away! Been taking it out in waves I wouldn’t normally be as comfortable in but she holds super strong on the takeoff and is sooooo much fun in small punchy waves too. Definitely an epic all-rounder board or for girls like me delving into the shortie world for the first time!

I’m on my second love child. These come to life as a quad. They are so much fun and can be pushed in larger surf as long as it’s no too hollow. Mines a 6’8 and gets a lot of water time on marginal points days. Great value fish that’s just so much fun.

I had been riding a 7ft (66lt) board for a while now and was finding I needed more responsiveness as I started progressing onto bigger waves at my local wave pool.
After a lot of consideration, I decided to go with the Highline ES. I'm so happy with the purchase. The board feels smooth and stable under the feet. The small drop in volume and length has not been an issue at all. It's been a dream to use.

It’s meant to be a kids board but it’s not. Sit at the back and wait for those big sets. This board will take a 6ft wave easy. You’ll paddle in easier than anyone else. The construction is excellent too supports FCS fins. The only down side is that it does not support a back foot pad as the surface is not smooth like a fibreglass board. Please make one !!!!
