Good service but the replacement barrel was to small to work with my tumbler. The return fee of $20.00 meant that with the purchase price and shipping fee, I would have had a $47.00 investment in a barrel I could not use. In reality you really do not have useful return policy. Overall I’m pretty happy with the performance/value equation of both the trim saw and slanted cabber. For faster speeds, I would have to spend more. These are good starter setups. I’m sort of new to lapidary work and it requires a little bit more patience. I’ve been doing a few pieces of rough at a time in a session.
I’m also having to find the right location in a very cluttered garage. Both machines are easy to move and clean.
I wonder about blade and lap life. I realize this is relative ...

Pretty well done technically. My main question of whether to use grit and rocks in the aluminum pan of the vibratory tumbler was not addressed. Wouldn’t doing that quickly wear out the aluminum pan? Other than that, the book is well done.
