Have had This type of case from this company for various phones. So I knew it would be welll made. The case fits the phone beautifully and I like that it doesn't have a hinge cover but does cover volume up-and-down. Also, the opening for the power/fingerprint scanner is easy to find. Accidents happen and this gives me a bit of security in knowing it's less likely to shatter if I'm juggling between coffee cup, door keys, and my remarkable and something slips out of grip! I love this screen protector. I use on my Samsung Galaxy tablet 10.1. I got a replacement because a drinking glass fell on it and cracked the screen protector.
