What a magnificent lure. I used the reddish/orange one in the Vermillion River near Beresford, South Dakota in shallow water. The channel catfish inhaled it. I caught it just after sunset so it was getting dark, but the cat sure found it all right. I did cut off the original hook and replaced them with red, Eagle Claw trebles. I chose size 6 and it worked great. It was relatively easy to replace the hooks with economical split ring pliers from Ebay.

Love the red lipless rattle traps either 2/3 oz (for distance) or the 1/3 oz for change up. This lure has great action, swims straight, and has free shipping. Seems to dive between 1-4 feet depending on location. I have taken this model to the river where it was diving around 4ft. And I have also taken it to a friends ponds where it consistently would dive 1ft to 2ft with a medium or slow retrieve . Good for airbrushing. Will buy again.

Great multi species jerk bait. In one 40min outing I caught 6 small mouth A pickeril, a trout and a white fish. I also hooked into a large carp that ended up sending a hook out. Over all the hooks are super sharp and seem strong for the most part. I plan on getting more!

Caught a ton of Bass on this bait. It stays just under the surface and Largemouth love them. Was very impressed and after I got home I ordered a bunch more for my Dad and I. Only gripe is the hook strength. The hooks broke while removing them from the fish a few times, luckily I was prepared and brought extra hooks!

I really like throwing square bills, these are just as good as the high dollar cranks on the market. I switch out the hooks to VMC short shank trebles, but that is my preference. Nice bent minnow -- even has a rattle that's not mentioned in the write up. Good hooks, decent finish. Caught a walleye on the third cast - first open water fish of the year. Only complaint about wlure are the split rings tend to rust, but for the price I don't mind replacing them.
