Out of the box, I immediately saw that this was going to be more than a belt squat platform. The UHMW plastic on the crossbar immediately told me it was also going to be my new landmine bent-over row platform, as the lift for the bar was the perfect height to unrack plates off the ground. They say “Health is wealth” well the Power Rack Pro is worth every penny! I could not be happier with my purchase. I settled on the Pro model since I’m over 6’ tall and this unit is their tallest. I put mine in a small extra bedroom, only 10’6”x 11’2”. There is adequate room to walk around the power rack and plenty of room in front for exercising. It’s awesome. It’s got everything I need. I’m not so sure about the smith machine connecting to the stacked weights tho. It’s a little tricky since the bar has to be at around the same height as the weight clip. So you engage the weight in the isometric phase of the lift and immediately go into the concentric phase rather than beginning the lift right before the eccentric phase (the negative).
