Came out just like I hoped! The pattern was straightforward and simple to follow. The video was great to follow along to. I machine stitched on the binding and used a cool glow in the dark thread in a spider web pattern.

These were my very first quilts and I absolutely love this pattern! The instructions were great, the recommendations for the amount of fabric needed were spot on, and the pattern was beautiful. I did use several different patterns and colors which made it a bit more tricky but that was the fun part. I wanted it to have some differences and not be as uniform. They're not perfect but I learned so much in the process.

Just finished doing the quilting to make 2 more. The 1st one I made was a huge hit with the kids on my bus so I’m making 2 more for variety.
This pattern was so simple to follow I just used random Christmas prints from my stash for the 1st Santa/Elf hat these I just quilted with more planned.

I loved the pattern! I purchased the PDF. I like having print to refer to as I am a fairly new quilter and crafter. Still making mistakes and appreciate all the hints in your posts. I found the ribbon needed to be 6” from the ends instead of 3”. That may have been an error in the instructions but easy to figure out what to do. I made this Santa hat pattern for 8 people this Christmas. Instructions were great and they turned out very festive and cute and everyone loved them❣️☃️🎄🤶! I used aleenes fabric glue for the top of the fur. I'm not a patient sewer and I was in a hurry so maybe it's best not to follow suit!!!!

I made these for a couple of my cousin’s children. The pattern was easy to follow. Instead of one long piece for the front pocket, I used a panel picture and two small side pieces to make up the front pocket in the size needed. I used the directions for making the envelope back instead of a zippered back.

An easy to follow pattern and a quick/ fun make. I have made 2 so far with more to come. I found the large size worked with most adults in our friends and family group. I also made my own Pom Pom from a scrap of the faux fur trim. I made an Indiana University themed Santa hat for my niece for her first year at college. She loved it!

There is a couple corrections that need to be made. Your sashing strips instructions say to cut 2 1/2" wide, BUT if you look at your picture of your quilt you have cut them 3 1/2" wide. If they are only 2 1/2" wide the outside boarder does not fit, it is 4" to long. I added a 2 1/2" boarder to mine before adding the flying geese boarder.

Great pattern. I completed the 1st one without the instructions because (my own fault) I exceeded the number of downloads. I asked for help and was granted another download - phew!
My modifications -
1. traditional folded binding on inside seam - worked great!
2. Cut the fur trim wider, folded wrong sides together, attached, and folded up so there are no unfinished edges on the hat.
I made a total of 10 Santa hats. Too late for Christmas 2024 but I am ahead of the game for 2025!

The pattern was very easy to follow! I used the called for interfacing and flex foam which made the project easy to quilt on. I made the brim of my hat patchwork instead of one piece which was more time consuming, but I love the look of patchwork! I’ll be making a few more witch hats 😊

Hat went together easily - I made one modification and bound the seam where the brim and hat were sewn together for a tidier finish. Also, if you are using non directional fabric, you can quilt a smaller piece for the hat by nestling the corner of the hat pattern piece closer to the corner of the quilted foam and save yourself some extra work. Super fun make and easy to customize!!

I made the hat with some of my wilder handwoven fabric. I only needed to make it a little bit bigger because my head is bigger than average and also due to the thickness of the fabric. I didn’t use the iron on interfacing because it wasn’t friendly with some of the synthetics in the handwoven. My daughter asked me to make them a witch hat. After finding your pattern and helpful video, I made the hat with the blocks. Then I made the orange one and the purple one. My daughter has a cat. I used your measurement ratio and adjusted the size for the cat. I used batting and not the foam so the hats have movement like fabric. It was a fun project. Thank you.

I love how this bag turned out! I made it for my 3-year-old grandson for Christmas. While making it, I thought maybe the flex foam (I used Annie's Soft and Stable) was a little stiff for this bag. But when it was done, I realized the foam helps it keep its shape when it's not full, making it easier to pack. Good choice! The instructions were clear and easy to understand. I opted for making fabric straps instead of using webbing, and added an appliquéd name.
