The vanilla lime scent is nice and subtle. Some tallow balms smell funny and are very thick, but Based Balm’s tallow melts into my skin without making me feel super greasy. I apply a pea-sized amount of tallow after cleansing my face at night, and that usually keeps my skin happy until the next night. I've had a great experience with Based Balm. Their products are high quality and don't have the beefy smell that comes with other tallow products. This is my second jar! I absolutely love it! My skin has changed so much using the Tallow & Zinc sunscreen.
