The bike arrived with no real issues. The derailed guard was bent slightly from shipping, but took about 2 minutes to straighten. The maiden voyage was a 3 mile on road that transitioned to an eighth mile hill climb on rough muddy terrain, an inclines approaching 40 degrees. After the decent I put another 4 miles on the bike. First off, I love my Wired Fredom!! I was able to pick it up at the warehouse. The warehouse guys were great and loaded it for me. The unpacking of the bike was interesting as it was so well packed and everything was as it should be, with the paint to the fenders. This Cruiser e-bike is amazing. I was skeptical at first to get it. I thought my old e-bike was just fine with the regular 26" tires. I thought this bike looked like a beast and would be too big and heavy for me. My husband talked me into it. He researched a ton of bikes and this one is awesome with everything it has on it and for the price. He ordered a Scout but he has to wait until May to get it. The bike came packed in a large cardboard box on a pallet to my house. Once I removed all the components I began assembly. This is where Wired customer service really shines. The bike is everything it is advertised to be. It is the fastest most powerful ebike I have owned. It seems quite well-built. Make sure to correctly bed the brakes, you will need them! Wired has outdid thier self. The SCOUT 72v is amazing. My first ebike was the 2024t wired freedom 60v and l absolutely love it. But the 72v Wired Scout is everything l could want in a ebike and the delivery was quick and on time. Wired also back up thier warranties. This e bike has an amazing amount of power. When I leave my home in a rural area I ride down a hill through a gully, and then up a hill before I reach flat land. My wired e-bike recently malfunctioned and a new battery was required. The process of acquiring the new battery took longer than desired because the old battery had to be tested, to identify if the battery was actually the problem. In order to get this testing performed a shop had to be located near me that could perform the test. Due to my eyesight I accidentally snipped the dual controller wire mistaking it for the zip ties on the fork!!! Brand new and I broke it in the unboxing stage!! After a few emails the owner of the company boxed and sent me a whole wiring harness and told me how to pull it through the frame!! I bought a WIRED Cruiser three weeks ago based on the reported performance and comments I read regarding WIRED’s good customer service.
