Wow, what a cruiser. Once you get the PAS levels set the way you like it, it is perfect. Rides very smooth, very stable, and has the power to get you going. Started out in class 2 mode for the first few days, and could not get much throttle power off the line at busy intersections unless I remembered to put it to PAS 5. My wired e-bike recently malfunctioned and a new battery was required. The process of acquiring the new battery took longer than desired because the old battery had to be tested, to identify if the battery was actually the problem. In order to get this testing performed a shop had to be located near me that could perform the test. This e bike has an amazing amount of power. When I leave my home in a rural area I ride down a hill through a gully, and then up a hill before I reach flat land. This Cruiser e-bike is amazing. I was skeptical at first to get it. I thought my old e-bike was just fine with the regular 26" tires. I thought this bike looked like a beast and would be too big and heavy for me. My husband talked me into it. He researched a ton of bikes and this one is awesome with everything it has on it and for the price. He ordered a Scout but he has to wait until May to get it. Today, I finally was able to open the box of a new Wired Cruiser I received a couple weeks ago. To summarize the experience of opening the box and assembling the bike, it went off without a hitch. There was no damage to the bike from shipping and, once assembled, everything worked great out of the box. I took it for a ride and it was stable and smooth! I love my Wired Cruiser. On my first ride, I did notice some issues with the crank being loose, and it progressed to the point where I had to reach out to Wired. They were super fast to respond, and put me in contact with a technician that was able to send me the parts required to repair everything perfectly. Absolutely Amazing bike!! I was having some issues (input the wrong codes during setup) and the owner called me on a sunday night!! ON SAINT PATTY’S DAY! The bike goes on flat ground about 35 mph with my weight of 210 lbs plus 30 lbs of cargo. Uphill at a 45-50% grade it ranges from 14-26 mph. Never gives up. The bike came packed in a large cardboard box on a pallet to my house. Once I removed all the components I began assembly. This is where Wired customer service really shines. I love the help I have received after purchase. Quick response in text. Some small gripes. One this thing is huge. And it's hard to imagine how big it is. Two my display seems to be off by a bit on the speed display. Shows going like 6.2 miles per hour. GPS shows 18..also the fact I'm keeping pace with a car shows me clearly the display is wrong. I have many bikes and my favorite is the wired freedom cruiser. It was easy to put together. The box was well protecting the The bike inside the odd little thing missing but no big deal. I haven't been able to ride it much due to the weather but I like it so far. I need to adjust the pedal assist in levels one and two because it's actually too much for me to get a good workout the way it is. I will say this is a big bike so don't be surprised by that. First off, I love my Wired Fredom!! I was able to pick it up at the warehouse. The warehouse guys were great and loaded it for me. The unpacking of the bike was interesting as it was so well packed and everything was as it should be, with the paint to the fenders.
