Only comment my installer thought the support bracket should be longer. He added additional screws through the top of mantle to be sure it could support weight.

This was a fun rainy day project.
Installed both shelves in about 2 hours. (I’m a perfectionist, measured multiple times).
Stud finder & an industry level are key tools for this, especially if you’re focused on accuracy. Never remove level until screws are in the wall. Also, a good drill with screw gun attachment for clean finish.
The shelves were exactly what I envisioned for the guest bathroom makeover. At a fraction of the cost of a contractor. Big Fan of DYI installation.

It was my first experience installing floating shelves and I viewed the video on YouTube, which was very helpful! I opted purchasing 16 additional mollie bolts given studs are 16 inches apart and there was metal in my walls! Next time I will hire someone because the hardware for the large shelves was very heavy! I’m very pleased with the quality and look of the final product!

I heard about Urbandi from a friend and could not be more happy about my purchase! I ordered the white oak fireplace mantel (white-washed) and was super nervous it would be too white looking but it’s not at all! It’s the perfect light white oak wood tone, honestly it flows very well with my flooring, so huge plus 🙌🏼 I ordered the 84” 6Hx6D, I got it on sale but it’s pretty pricey even on sale..I figure you don’t go buying yourself a mantel all the time so I considered this a splurge 😉
