These shelves far exceeded our expectations. The color and the quality of the wood is exceptional. You can smell the oil from the staining the moment you open the box. Don’t underestimate the weight of these shelves. 100% solid wood. Now I am looking around the house trying to find another spot that might need these. Highly recommend Urbandi. The mantle is absolutely perfect! I love the stain and glad I got samples first. The mantle is just enough "rustic" - not too much and the craftsmanship is excellent. I did have an installation issue not understanding what the "special" bracket for uneven surfaces did, but after back and forth emails, I finally "got it". My input to customer support is that an installation video would help, but otherwise, I am very happy with it!

Absolutely love this and will purchase more. Was a but darker that the photos, however I'm liking the contrast. Easy to install but wish there were more opening in the metal hanger so that I could have hit more than 2 studs. Highly recommend

Easy to install and looks great. It took about 30 minutes to install, but half of that was the learning curve, so a second one would have taken no more that 15 minutes after you decide the location. My only suggestion for improvement is to do better on the distressing. My shelf has only 2 very rough gouges on the top and bottom and a couple tiny dents on the end.

We love our new mantel! The only mistake I made was letting my wife watch me install it. It took me less than 5 minutes to install. I should have waited until she was out shopping or something because when she got home she would have assumed that it took me a long time to install. That would have earned me a bunch of “Husband points”! Now I’ve got to earn those points with other projects. Anyway, as I said we love how it looks and it really was super easy to install. Thank you!

I had them professionally installed. Tge only thing he told me was it would be nice if you could also drill through the bracket and that the bracket was really rough, cut his arm (not badly) when installing. They look great, there was a couple scratches on the top of one but no one could see it. They smelled so good and really good quality! I would get them for another room. if I needed more hanging shelves.

Very pleased with my new floating shelves! They arrived just as my husband was leaving for a trip and I didn’t have the patience to wait until he came home so I installed them myself. The shelves are beautiful and fit my spot perfectly. I was hoping the steel rods would be slightly longer to add stability. The shelves are stable but can be pushed down quite easily. I don’t intend on having lots of weight on them so I think it will be okay. Otherwise they are gorgeous and we love them!

These shelves are high quality and carefully made. Solid wood, other than the mounting bracket holes, fine finish and exactly what I was hoping for. To be honest they surpassed my expectations. Mounting these wasn’t all that easy, they are 4’ in length, I probably should have looked for a helper. After refinishing our red brick fireplace we finally got to put up our beautiful Contemporary Mantle! It matched our floors perfectly. Except for a few nicks, that look like distress marks, I am very happy I went with the Contemporary Mantle. The only issue we did have is with the support piece you anchor to the wall being warped.

Shelves are beautifully made. The 48 x 8 inch shelf was sturdy, however, the 24 x 12 inch shelves needed reinforcement as the brackets were not long enough to support the weight. They were shipped timely and I would not hesitate to order again for other rooms in the house.

Love this shelf! It arrived well packaged with all necessary hardware. The instructions were easy to follow and it was installed in less than 15 minutes. I added some hand-hammered wrought iron hooks and made it function as a coat hanger. We will be ordering again soon. There is a great spot in our house for one of your 84” shelves!

We ordered this mantel as part of a gas fireplace upgrade and surround remodel. It's made of real wood and the craftsmanship is spot on. We especially liked the 54" option, which is something not all companies offer without customizing. The mantel has been a great addition to our remodel.

There is a small spot on one corner that looks a little damaged, which I believe happened during shipping. My box arrived damaged. The mantle is easy to mount and in my opinion, looks beautiful. The color is a little darker than I expected but stands out against the white shiplap. Overall, I would recommend to others and I don’t think you will be disappointed..

Totally satisfied with the mantle from Mantle we bought from URBANDI. It warms up our jam room/ man cave. Very easy to install. We needed an uneven surface mounting bracket which can only be purchased through URBANDI. We ordered through Wayfair but the only way to get the uneven surface mounting bracket was direct through URBANDI. It was also less expensive ordering direct.
