We chose ash as our material and are thrilled with their appearance. At 72 by 12 inches, they are somewhat heavy, but most DIY'ers should be able to mount them. My wife and I, both in our 70's, installed the shelves ourselves, with the top one being seven and a half feet off the floor! These shelves are a beautiful addition to our living room.

Instead of puking a screw through the beautiful shelf, I used heavy duty 3 m to keep them in place. Otherwise amazing and I would absolutely buy them again. Thank you

The mantle came out nice and was about the color we expected. As others have mentioned, if you look up close you can tell it’s not solid/ multiple pine pieces from the corners, but for the price it looks great. If I wanted a solid piece of wood that bad, I’d have spent the $1,200. I also have a 32lb center channel sitting (half) on it, and it’s constructed well enough that I’m not worried about the weight.

Easy install in stucco using appropriate fasteners; instructions are done very well; for exterior application I added 3 coats of satin polyurethane. Really nice product for the price and customer service was responsive.

Just what I had hoped for and pictured! Definitely has a scent, which I like, from the stain. Brings it's own wine cellar scent! Sadly will fade quickly I'm sure. If you can't engage 1 stud it may fall just a hair short of flat but still secure . One stud somewhere would be ideal. There are cheaper products but wanted the wood action and that's more work and quality material and they're going to be there for a long time.

Our experience working with urbandi was great! The wood samples we ordered came quickly and were super helpful in making our decision on what color to go with to match our existing console table. The shelf came quickly considering the holiday rush and was in perfect condition. My husband was able to mount it quickly using the included instructions and we had no issues. We love it so far!

Shelf I ordered was 6’ in length by 10” width. Went with the lighter color oak. It is for a bar. Order went smooth. It did take about a month from when I ordered it to when I received it. Packaging was really good and the hardware was simplistic to install. I installed the metal mount and tiles around it. Urbandi customer service was really good. They were quick to reply with good advice. Beautiful product and good transaction all around. Great company.

I ordered the unfinished white oak and used a clear poly to seal it myself. My finished product was lighter than the finished white oak sold here which was my goal. The shelf is beautiful - it did require some slight filler for a couple of narrow cracks and it does wobble a bit when first put on the hardware- even with tape around the hardware posts. The wobbling decreases as the shelf settles and it’s worked very well in my space. I’d purchase again

Overall they're great. Very nice shelves. They were surprisingly light for their size and thickness so I'm wondering if they're hollow. That's not a negative thing, just an observation, because they look well made. Much much better than the look-a-like wood options found on the popular online shopping sites. This is a beautiful shelf! It is exactly what I was looking for to display an heirloom sailing boat. The Jacobean stain is beautiful and compliments my other furniture nicely. It arrived on time and was packaged well. My only criticism is that my husband had to drill extra holes in order to hang it as their were no holes on top to secure it to the support. Other than that, I highly recommend it!
