Easy to install/hang. hollow box construction provides an easy pathway for running speaker wiring to left, right, and center speakers - drilled three small holes behind each speaker for the wires to come through. just need to add the tile/stone surround now. Happy with this product.

I bought two of these for my Tonal exercise wall and attached the hooks on my own. I had trouble finding a Tonal shelf with a wood tone similar to what I have in my house, and the exercise wall is in a visible place. I wanted it to look nice, and this was perfect. Perfect sizing I needed to fill in and utilize the wall space! The shelves complement the overall look. Only negative is the wall anchor is not strong and broke even when pre-drilling.. I suggest to get a stronger wall anchor if you cannot locate the studs.

We needed six floating shelves, but didn’t want to order all six before we had a chance to see what they looked like. We ended up ordering one 54” x 10” x 2” aged oak shelf and it looked perfect for our house. It isn’t installed yet, but the order came on time, it is high quality, and the mounting hardware looks to be very sturdy. We will be ordering the other five soon.

Added a nice touch of homeyness to a small rented NYC apartment. The bracket was a bit tough to install, given I have drywall and even with the anchors the bracket was leaning forward because of the weight; which led to a drooping shelf. I installed a second bracket to bring it up to the right height, and that fixed it.

Love this distressed walnut mantle! It’s the show stopper to our new accent wall. The only suggestion would be is to provide at least 4” screws or longer when there are multiple layers to go through. Also, the shipping time was very impressive. I will be spreading the word about Urbandi!

Purchased two 48x5x5 mantle pieces to use as shelves next to our fireplace. Beautiful, solid wood shelves! Interestingly they weighed completely different from one another, probably having to do with the density of the wood. Installation was tricky only due to the metal prongs being at slightly different angles. This resulted in having to use screws to shim accordingly and take our time wrestling with the weight of the shelves and lining up the prongs with the pre-drilled holes. However, with patience, they are up and looking fantastic. Just need to stock up with glasse...

I found Urbandi's website by chance online and was pleasantly surprised to see that they are manufactured in my home state of Ohio. It's exactly the contemporary style I was looking for and was easy to install. I personally enjoy seeing the character of the wood in the grain and knots visible. My one critique would be that the internal brace that you attach to the wall is maybe 3-4 ft long but the mantel is just over 6 ft long. When you press on either end of the mantel, it does shift up/down. ...

Amazing floating shelf, well constructed. The steel mounting bracket is very strong. The wood finish is fine and the staining and final finish are very professional. Imperative that installer finds studs in wall to assure professional installation. A beam finder is a must and these can be found online at reasonable cost. I am very pleased with this shelf.. Great price, excellent workmanship, solid shelf! Fast and protective shipping! The wooden bracket to hold up the shelve is good, but I added some metal corner brackets and mending plates to strengthen the wooden brackets. Make sure to screw the wooden bracket to the studs in your wall for a secure hold, especially if you plan to place heavier objects on the shelf.

Beautifully made, however, the brackets for the 24 x 12 needed reinforcement as they were not sturdy enough to support their weight. Besides that, they look amazing and I would not hesitate to order again. The shipping was timely and the customer service was awesome!

This floating shelf has changed my TV layout. I originally got the 6 inch deep shelf, but realized if I wanted to put my sound bar and apple tv on it under my television that I was going to need more space. I initiated the return/exchange process which was super easy, shout out to the Urbandi team for making that painless.
Once I get the 60Wx8D shelf in there, putting everything on to hide the wires was a breeze. The TV set up looks great now and I am thrilled with how it turned out

We hated the mantle that the builder installed in our house and had been wanting to replace it since we moved in. I finally found this product with the custom sizes and color options and decided this was it! We ordered the natural color and stained it ourselves to match our woodwork. We love it! We love the distressed look and it’s the perfect size! We’re so glad we did it! It was also easy to install and lightweight. It looks like it should weigh 100 pounds but it is very light weight.
