Clean and uniform beans. Very sensitive to temperature and ramp up time. This is from 150°C/3min, 190/4, 210 to first crack completion plus 90 seconds, 170/2. Big changes to aromas/notes with small changes to temps and times. Still finessing.

This is my first time buying coffee beans and making coffee. The price is comparable to other roasters but this is swiss water decaffeinated which is a much expensive process. I m not a coffee connoisseur and i drink it with a straw to avoid teeth stain. I m just drinking this for antioxidants and not for taste. Lovely flavours, exactly as described. It took a few shots to get it right though. I had to dial way down just a touch before the burrs hit. It needs a really fine grind. I was over-extracting for the first few shots when I ground them at my previous bag Golden Cup’s grind size. Take note: it’s almost 2 units finer on a Eureka Mignon. However, once you achieve it, it’s good, well worth it.

Nicely roasted, and affordable. Espresso had somewhat of a potato/groundnut note on the first few days after roast, but this quickly blew off to reveal a scent of orange zest after the first week.
