Last winter, we hit the Bay near Door County. Mags rods were key in all of us catching our limit on whitefish in 60' of water. The sensitivity and responsiveness of the rods was key in knowing when they were on our lures. We can't wait to hit the ice again with our Mags Rods, Trophy Fishing of Green Bay and of course the best friends a guy could have.

I haven’t really invested in a well made reliable ice rod. I decided this year to rebuild my smaller ice shanty and get a few new rods. I saw the Labor Day deal going on with Mags so I jumped on it. Received my ice rod in about 5 days, not bad . The rod is awesome looking and well constructed. I can’t wait to reel in the first fish on. Now it’s time to look into getting a couple more. Pat, you have to try it to believe it, I was jigging 26 to 32 feet of water and when I hit the mud or a rock you could feel it like if you reached down with your hand and felt it. maybe I shouldn't be saying this and keeping this my secret but that wouldn't be fair to you or your products. Keep up the great work. as far as the reel I ordered the wrong size I should of ordered the 2000 and not the 1000 my bust. Thanks , John Amacher

Fit and finish of the rod was awesome. Ordered one of the custom carbons. My second Mags. Used my first one for fishing burbot on Winnebago las year. Haven't had a chance to use the new carbon yet. No ice here in Madison.

I have 2 of these and plan on getting a few more. Very versatile rod, I use it for multispecies. Just the right amount of sensitivity to feel what's going on but still enough back bone to get the job done. Also they are very light weight.

I believe I know own seven MAGS rods. Five spinning in a couple different actions and two of their bottom bouncer baitcasters. Quality builds and I've never had any issues with any of them. Although they have a one year warranty I've heard they stand behind their products if there's ever an issue. I recommend them to my friends.

I just got this hoodie and it's very comfortable and heavy duty. The Mags logo is very nice material that should stay on there for years to come. This is like they used to make sweatshirts 20 years ago. Thanks Mags!

Dude megs rods are by far more sensitive and backbone than any other rod I have tried.. Some including St Croix, and Fenwick .

This is my second power noodle and I love them for pan fishing the ice. I do have a complaint this time around with the purchase. I bought this rod threw a picture only and I thought it was black. It's actually purple. Better description would have been ideal.

Rod arrived well packaged in sturdy tube with bubble and a plastic sleeve inside. The custom colors look fantastic and the blank was straight with the eyes placed perfectly. Got to use it on panfish and some walleye under 20". The rod performs beautifully in both scenarios, great sensitivity and just the right action. I will buy again in the future.

Bought a power noodle last fall and loved it so much I bought another. Great backbone for harder fighting panfish like big crappie and early winter gills, but a delicate enough tip that I was catching small smelt on Lake Michigan in 20 feet of water and seeing every strike from their drive-by bites. Great value and quality!

I have to have rods that have great feel and recovery in the blank. There are a lot of well built rods on the market that have spongy or blanks that have very little feel but are made well. I am very impressed with Mags rods from build quality to the blanks used (you can feel everything your jig or lure comes into contact with). These spinning rods are top shelf in my book and few $180-$250 rods can compete.

First day I used it was in Door County Wisconsin for smallmouth. The rod has a great feel to it, and it held up very well on some great bass fishing! Definitely worth the money, and I will be buying another.
