Our 70 lb. German Shepherd can't jump over the gate. The plastic slot for the connector indicates a possible metal replacement. It would be much stronger. With plastic, the dog may chew. All in all, the gate is very sturdy and the shape is well designed. Very easy to install.

I tightened these as best I could by hand but do to a medical condition I then used a pair of channel locks to carefully snug them up until the gap between the door and the jamb closed to the specified 0.059". I don't recommend using channel locks.

This is exactly as described. Very high-quality parts and product. One thing I would make note of is to have exact measurement of your space. There is extra spacing parts, but very limited.

This pet gate arrived quickly and well packaged with all pieces present and in tact. This is a metal walkthrough gate that is tension mounted and easy to install. I will say that I actually like this one more than some others I’ve had in the past because the verticals bars are closer together which reduces the chance of a child or pet trying to get through the gate.

The gate is just as advertised. I like the fact that it is functional. You can open and close the small door at will. I can also walk through the large swing door. Both my cat and I are very pleased with this product.

Installation was easy and convenient. It didn't fit the doorway opening at the bottom because of the baseboards so it had to be installed above . This prevents the bottom of the door from being flush with the floor. Please check if your wall has a skirting board, otherwise you will have to lift up the entire gate to install it.

I could see this working for most cats it was very tall and I was shocked my cat jumped over it but she did. Maybe test how high your cat can jump or if its a bigger cat it would most likely work.
