You have to be a little careful to peel off the protective film, this door seems like a work of art, I hope my dog treats it gently, the price is a little steep for me, I'd give it 4 stars

I carefully peeled off the protective film and this is a great looking door, the only downside is that it would be nice if it was a little cheaper, which is why I gave it 4 stars. But Fairy Baby's doors are trustworthy and I've bought many of them.

This door fits my opening of about 50 inches, one thing to keep in mind is the width in the store is plus the length of the screws, don't cut the rolled straps ahead of time or you're pretty sure to be in trouble, I hope this helps, I'm giving this a 4 star rating because I'm way too old for this and for me I'm going to take my time with the installation.

Considering how difficult it is for even a 5-year-old to open the closing mechanism, this safety gate is excellent for kids. We placed it at the foot of the stairs to prevent an 18-month-old and a 5-year-old from going upstairs unattended.

I ordered it 20 days prior to Mothers Da as a 'Mothers Day' gift and somehow it still didn't come on time. Its hard to ever want to order from you again when something listed as a Mothers Day gift doesn't come on time for Mother's Day. It doesn't make any sense. A lot of sites will notify you if an order is expected to come later than the date it's purchased for. But, 20 days should have been more than enough time regardless considering the slowest shipping is still 5 to 10 business days.

I could see this working for most cats it was very tall and I was shocked my cat jumped over it but she did. Maybe test how high your cat can jump or if its a bigger cat it would most likely work.

This is a very interesting dog gate, and unique in that it is completely clear, with just a simple wooden frame around each panel. Compared to the standard pet gate with bars, this is a tremendous improvement visually. It doesn't block off the area sight lines, allowing you to see your entire room, minus just the frame. It terms of appearance, this is far nicer than any other dog gate we've had.

Gate is well made and easy to install. However, even though I bought the extra tall one, my cat easily jumped right over it. So unfortunately it was a waste of $300. Would recommend for dogs, but not for cats.

The gate was so incredibly dangerous that we had to return it immediately. The threshold - a horizontal bar along the bottom of the gate that provides strength and stability - was 4” off the floor. It was nearly guaranteed that someone would catch their foot on it and fly down our steep stairs. Plus, the “door” in the gate is so narrow that one could not safely carry a child, a laundry basket, etc. through it. So, it posed another hazard.
