I am still learning how to install and adjust the mirrors. One question that I have is there a difference between the silver and gold mirrors? Which one is the best? Also how can I convert my 40 watt CO 2 laser to 60 watt? What do I need in order to do this.

I really had my heart set on a rotary chuck, but I didn't want to spend that much. This was a great compromise. If you're wanting to engrave tumblers, this will make easy work out of them!

Great system, shipping was faster than expected and a small issue was resolved quickly with the customer support. Within 30 minutes i was able to engrave Samuel Jackson onto a leather wallet using the provided software above. Even got to test the power cutting out 1/2in boards in a single pass within a decent tolerance, impressed me a ton. The added auto focus saves tons of time when cutting things of different heights. I would highly recommend, for the price and the quality this thing is awesom...

Unboxing this laser, I was impressed with the careful packaging, and setting everything up went very smoothly. I had lots of difficulty with the included EzCAD software (couldn't get the driver to install, so couldn't use on my computer), but was up and running in a minute with Lightburn, which is much easier to use for a novice like myself. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to generate a COR file without EzCAD, but the machine was already really close to perfect for lens distortion correcti...

Works nice its not bad for noise. It does filter the air well still have some smoke and smell. but does not set off our fiore detectors and they are touchy lol. The smell is about same as having a fireplace going in home or a shop. We live in northern IL. So winter cold out on some days I will filter out window from filter system still not bad.

Lightburn is simply the best software IMHO. Monport laser had the best deal out there on the Galvo license.

Purchased the Chiller for my 40w desktop machine. Works great to keep the machines water at just under room temperature. The pump in it blew any bubbles out of the tube IMMEDIATELY. Awesome Upgrade to the pond pump and bucket I was using before!

Great laser
Been messing around with diode lasers and wanted to try out a CO2 unit. Monport was recommended on a forum that I read and the youtube video about their K40 showed all good things so I took the leap.
Couldn't be happier with the choice. The laser was exactly as it should have been. It worked correctly right out of the box with no need to adjust mirrors or do any more than plug it in and add water.
Well done Monport, I'm sure I'll be a returning customer when I need something else!
