I especially like that each pencil has its own elastic band to keep it in place No more having to dig around in a plastic bag Plus the color chart is extremely helpful in picking the right color and then being able to easily find it in the case. The artist was comparing them to other coloring pencils and they looked terrible. I love Castle Arts colored pencils. The Gold set in my opinion does not have as bright of colors as the Premium Soft Touch set. The Gold set the leads seem to crumble a little bit more.
