I received my order in a timely fashion. A lot of the pencils had broken tips and the case was ruined. I reached out to the company and their customer service is top notch. They quickly remedied the situation. I would 100% buy from them again and recommend them to anyone. Great pencils at a great price!

I first experienced Castle products with a set of paints. I was so impressed that I have ordered colored pencils and sketch pads. I especially like this set of pencils because colors are easy to find, pencils slip in and out of the case and stay organized and safe from being lost. The case easily zips up to travel. The pencils are of excellent quality, the color being on the end of them is very helpful, and the tutorials offered by Castle are very helpful.

I have other name brands of pencils but none of them are as good as Castle Arts pencils. From the look and feel of each one they are superior to the other brands. The color selection is excellent and when applied to your art they go on easy and cover very well. I’m glad I bought this set and I’ll be back soon for more sets. These are great colored pencils. They have a lot of pigment and blend well together. These also come in an assortment of values, which helps beginners learn to blend colors easier. These work great on both smooth paper and paper with a slight tooth. The tin is beautiful and makes a great storage tin after all the pencils have been used up.

I heard about Castle Arts by watching U Tube videos by colorists. Love that the pencils are harder than Prismacolor, sharpen to a point beautifully. No breakage issues. Colors are vibrant. One reviewer said they smelled bad upon opening. I did not find that to be true. Downside is that they are not available open stock. Case is awesome. Pencils travel well in this case. ******

I bought the watercolor set first in 2018 for journaling, and I LOVE IT. The colors are seriously beautiful and they work really well. I got a 2nd set this summer (2021) just because I ran out of ultramarine XD- it’s my favorite blue out of any watercolors I’ve used or seen. Very professional looking set and really love how saturated, yet classy, they are.

I like the box, except it is hard to get to the pencils. They need to be in a container that is more user friendly. I like to jeep things very organized, so I see all of them at once, instead of having to lift out the trays. But excellent product.
