Absolutely LOVE this set! I’m no professional but from what I’ve experienced so far I’m a huge fan of the quality of these pencils. The colors lay down smoothly, they blend well, and the pencils stay sharp longer than other premium brands I’ve used. I’ll be buying another set of these. My only complaint is that Castle Arts doesn’t sell pencils individually.

It is my first time purchase with castle color pencils and I ordered them for myself and my kids. We are very happy with our products! I chose the harmonious collection for myself and the metallic and pastel collection for my kids. Both my kids are 6 yrs old and they love the pastel colored pencils the most but honestly we have been using pencils from all 3 collections and are very happy with the colors and quality. I’m planning to order the 120 gold set next!

The sketch paper was perfect for my graphite sketches. The graphite pencils blended nicely and the wide range of lead was nice. I purchased the 40 piece in zipper case and absolutely love it. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a complete set to travel with.

Beautiful color selection of pastels! I was looking for this color range in other companies’ colored pencils and had not found it. This was the first Castle Arts product I had ever purchased and I’m definitely buying more of your products. Buttery soft pencils beautifully presented, with great booklets and additional materials included free. I particularly appreciate the color tester sheet (see picture) which makes exact color selection easy and quick. A real plus!

The Van Gogh tin has a wide variety of colors, perfect for those larger pages that need more variety. Castle makes all different themed tins, the hard part will be deciding which one to buy next. Ad on my phone, was a little worried, but item came Fast and in Wonderful shape! Love the storage as you can put your pencils you select for a drawing, just stick them down instead of up and then you know the color you have chosen!! The pencils are good quality, I just LOVE them!!

I think the Castle Arts Gold pencils are perfect…not too soft and not too hard. My hand doesn’t ache after coloring from having to use more pressure, but I still feel very in control of how the color is working with the paper.

Castle Arts Premium Sketchbook (set of 2) has so far been enjoyable to use. I'm still finishing my current sketchbook, so have only drawn on a couple pages to test. Each sheet has one side with a slight tooth to it, while the opposite side is smooth -- always nice to have the option. The pages are perforated, so they can be torn out if desired -- some people just work better that way. The paper has a good feel to it. I love the pastel tints. I got the tin as I needed it for back up for when my case needs more. I go through these pencils so fast. Included is a photo I used all pastel tints on. Artist is Myka Jelina for those wondering. The back ground is the only medium not colored pencils. The hair and everything else (minus skin tone) is pastel. I love it and on occasion I do a page with all pastels. I recommend it!
