First time trying and really like these a lot!! Blends fantastic, smooth glide, shades perfectly & love that the pencils don’t have a bad smell… yes cheaper brands stunk when you opened the box. I have loved Prismacolor Pencils for years, but these are just as great, and cost less. (Just have to figure out cool names & numbers again now ) Recommend these to any artist or colorist ( new or experienced) You’re gonna love them!!

The photos are good for reference when I color the pages - which are excellent for any mode of coloring I choose! They are frameable, good for gifts, and just much fun to work on. Wet or dry these are a great watercolor pencil Pros: they blend well and achieve full pigment quickly. They dilute smoothly and easily with minimal amounts of water. There is a great variety of colors. They won't break the bank to purchase. Easy to use. Cons: they are not quite as smooth as the Castle soft-core pencils. They smear fairly easily. I would highly recommend these for beginners or experienced users. I have and will buy these again.

I’m really impressed with the quality of these pencils. Nice vibrant colors, easy to blend and layer. The presentation is top notch and the extras, such as the tutorial booklets and the pencil tester sheet, are a nice addition. I liked how the trays have those elastic bands at each end so they are easy to pull up, smart! If anything the pencils feel a bit tight in the tray, but no biggie. When ordering needs to say what colors are in pack. Was given the 72 and it didn't have any of the normal everyday colors. Had to send back to get bigger set to get red,blue,green,orange basic colors. If you order go with the 120 and larger. Pencils are soft easy to blend.

The search for gel pens for my bullet journaling led me to Castle Arts. I LOVE them!! The pens are comfortable to the fingers and write nice and the color choices are great. The clear barrel makes it easier to see how low the ink is and the caps make a snapping sound when they close. My only complaint is the packaging, I wish Castle Arts would make a case like they have for the pencils.
