If you can lift the motors by yourself, it can be a one person installation. Everything lines right up. I wrapped the exhaust with header tape, that pipe gets HOT! All of the factory wiring was redone to clean it up.

Everything fits as advertised. I talked to tech once, and he helped me right away. Only potential problem is the stock throttle cable on my 1996 ds. Barely long enough to fit up to the engine. So far so good.

The kit is made from high quality materials and the instructions are easy to read. Everything went together well and we had it running in about 10 hours. The only thing I would recommend is wrapping the muffler with exhaust tape and covering the bottom with heat absorbing material. The muffler on the Predator 670 is directly under the driver's seat and it gets very hot.

I purchased this tachometer for a racing tractor I've built that sports an original VC 460 Racing Engine. The VC 460 has a 6000 rpm limit and the face of the unit turns red when it hits its limit. The price was right, and the quality was outstanding. It is mounted easily on the steering column with the included ring mount. I recommend this tach for everyone who has a one-cylinder toy.

Great product, everything is as described. Only hiccup was clutch arrived damaged. I think it was damaged from manufacturer, not fault of Vegas Carts, however I paid significantly to return ship and they agreed to replace, unfortunately due to they're holiday schedule it's nearly two weeks since it was shipped back and my replacement clutch is still not shipped, and customers cart is behind promised delivery date.

The motor was installed to far forward and as a result the secondary clutch was eating belts. The team figured out the issue I readjusted the motor position and the cart is doing great. Belt is a quality belt and the customer service is excellent.

Swapped the Predator 459cc into my 1996 6-seater ezgo. The swap was super easy, only took ~ 6 hours, and the cart runs around 35-40mph now. Absolutely a blast to drive!

I can't figure out why these things are as pricey as they are, but it works great. It holds the low end power very well and can take a quick snap of the gas pedal without sticking. It comes back down to idle pretty good too. Alot bigger than my old one so I had to move the engine to get clearance. Time will tell how long it will work this good, but until then I really like it.

All of the parts were great quality. Everything went together great. The only hitch was I had to open one hole slightly. Which is not uncommon for a project like this. Extremely happy with the outcome!

Was easy to install a litte custom work to keep wires away from flywheel coil should have came with its own bolts but not a big deal working good so far 14.6 volts at idle with no lights on should be able to handle anything you would run on a garden tractor

So, the little club car FE290 was worn out, original engine from 2004. It was a clockwise engine, so my options were limited. Happened to find a kohler v twin that was compatible with a stub shaft and would tolerate side loading from that stub shaft. The problem was, the original belt was too short. I used this to solve a problem in a very expensive pipe machine. I need to to run an electric fuel pump that drew more amps than the predator produced. Installed the kit and now I get a constant 14.4 volts charges the battery and runs the pump

I have added a manual choke control and cable.
Added a small alternator.
Modified exhaust to run into stock Club Car muffler.
The cart runs exactly 18mph (governor factory setting).
The cart is strong from idle to 18mph.

Tach works great!!! The back light changing to red at rev limit is key!!! I did have to change the coils on my predator 670 so the tach could function as the stock ones would not let the tach read a signal.

I had a Honda 630 laying around so purchased the kit and put it all together using the Honda.The only thing that was different was the exhaust so I used the Honda exhaust. I must say that the kit is very nice and I m going to put another one together with a predator engine

I bought an Amazon clutch. Lasted less than 2 yrs in the cart. I knew better than to nickle and dime with the parts that matter. Lesson learned, again. The new clutch from Vegas carts is smoother, completely disengages, and much quieter. Plus I picked up about 5 mph.

I used the harbor freight 460 over the 420. Not all of the parts in the kit work for the 460 as I suspected would be the case. I really like the predator 460 pressurized oil system over the 420 oil slinging system. In particular the supplied exhaust will not work as it is in line with the drive belt so I had to use the factory exhaust supplied with the engine. The install was very simple just change the old with the new. I have this on a gx390 powering a vacuum fuel pump probably 5 feet away on a 12gal tank with no issues. Was worried vacuum wouldn’t be strong enough but I’ve had no issues.

Used this kit on a Yamaha g16 cart with NO LIFT KIT (even though the kit suggests one). I made 3/4” spacers for the rear axle, to tilt the rear subframe down slightly, so the exhaust and engine would clear everything. It was a very tight fit, but works and looks amazing.
I would highly recommend buying this kit, the quality and materials are top notch. It’s hard to find well made and thought out products like this in today’s market.

I had to make a few minor modifications to the cart, but the mount fit perfectly on my 2001 EZGO. I recommend getting the wiring kit, makes a quick and easy installation. Don't forget to read the Predator 670 Engine Mod page, this makes a huge difference in power and speed. One thing slighting different is the distance between clutches, they recommend 12.5" and the closest I could make mine was 13, but still works fine.

Great value! Ordered a "not perfect condition" clutch and it was just the ticket to get my old cart back on the road with a new Predator big-block engine. I had some difficulty understanding that the holes to register the spring needed to be opened in the casting, but Vegas Carts gave me a tip and I got it installed in about 30 minutes. I installed a new 625 motor from my previous 460 in my workhorse . to do this i installed your wiring harness and tach. your technical documents on line were easy to follow and very accurate. placed the tach and the switch in the dash instead of on the steering column this was just a personal preference . love the torque of the new motor top speed is not a issue with a work horse. This is my second dealing with VC and the group always answer my questions and stand behind there product .

Great kit! This kit easily installed in my 1996 Yamaha G14 cart. Only minor mods were needed to the cart frame (cut off old air filter bucket bracket, removed bottom splash shield) to install. Tip to others - disconnect or change out the driver's side brake cable *before* attempting to install the "angle correction bracket." If you don't, the cable will become extremely tight and hard to disconnect, and it will make it harder to align things to install the drop-down angle correction bracket ...

Super easy install. I did it with just a few moments of help from a friend for lifting and final engine/belt alignment. Took right around 6 hours leisurely working at it. Wow, what a difference! If I have a complaint it's that the exhaust should have a support. Its come loose on me twice in about 4 hours of driving.

It's the best alternative to the stock Ezgo boat anchor, cradle and engine. The hardest part of the swap was removing the OE engine and cradle. The install was easy. There was a few adjustments I had to make to the Vegascarts.com kit, but I expected that. Nothing out of line. Very happy overall. Thanks Vegascarts.com. Awesome install kit!! The most difficult part was removing the boat anchor assembly that is the original EZGO engine and cradle. I did need to make a few adjustments to the kit as I went along, expected, no big deal. I would recommend this Vegascarts.com kit to anyone looking to make their cart stand above the rest.
