After being a loyal fan of mechanix brand for years and then purchasing gloves on sale that didn’t last me a month working casually couple hours a week around the house, that’s when I started looking for alternative brands. Came across this brand and been very impressed with quality and customer service for exchange to smaller size. Vermont gloves is my choice of gloves now

I had a pair when I lived in Vermont. I now live back on Maui. Quality is so good I ordered a pair for over here. I asked for loops so I could hang them on my pants carabiner and that was added without charge. I hate to pay good money for low quality work glove that only last a month plus, I get to support my brothers and sisters in my beloved Vermont. A win win all around !

Gloves are amazing and fit perfectly! I’m rough on equipment, I live on a River and have a Farm. It’s no holds barred for me. Got the gloves in January 2026. I have already hauled rocks, scrap metal and cutting logs. So far so good! Can’t wait to se how they do in the Georgia heat and humidity.

Great gloves made even greater by the fact they can be repaired rather than discarded. These have lots of miles already logged, but have many more miles in them yet. Well done, Vermont glove!

I love the gloves and I bought a pair for my son (welder and pipe fitter). My only issue, I have pre skin cancer on the back of my hands and I get that stuff frozen off every year. The elastic on the glove rubs right where I had “stuff” burned off and hurts like hell. I used a stitch cutter and took the elastic off of the left glove. Much better. It would be nice if you guys could put a leather strap in place of the elastic. You could stitch in two chrome d-rings on one side and add a leat...

The last brand of gloves I'll ever own - I can get 2-3 seasons of hard riding with a pair. Exceptional quality - I even made a special request for reinforcement where I see concentrated wear and they were happy to accommodate.

There winter gloves. I have another pair 3 years old. They never leave my side. The goat skin unbelievably durable. The customer service the best. Great little company. I’ve told all my friends.

I bought these to use doing trail crew in the Adirondacks. My first two outings were in pouring rain and snow. My new gloves absolutely got put through the wringer and after oiling them up they were back on the trail the next weekend for even worse abuse. I am very pleased with these so far.

I had 2 finger tips that I had worn through - sent in for repair and they graciously returned with 4 finger tips on each glove... much more than expected... I am very happy with the results... in the long run if you can repair your gloves versus having to buy cheaper ones over and over you will come out ahead - and be wearing great gloves the whole time...

So I’ve had these gloves for a couple months now and at first they were a little snug but after I broke them in man these fit like a glove no pun intended. They fit amazing and the material is really tuff as you can see from the photos I’ve done lots of demo and construction work with them and they have taken it with no problems. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Good job a these gloves Vermont Gloves.

I wanted a US made pair of gloves for ski patrol work and was happy to find Vermont Glove fit the bill. After three seasons, however, the cuffs were showing a bit of wear from taking on and off. I sent these in at the end of the season thinking I could live without them for a bit, but they were done and back to me within about 10 days so I was super pleased to have them when the temps dropped again and I grabbed my Tuttle gloves for cold mornings. The cuff replacement looks great and is a bit mo...

The uphill skier is a fantastic glove. Before I put them to use, I conditioned them and then applied the waterproofing sold from Vermont glove. Without hesitation all of these products are great.

I am a carpenter in the Pacific Northwest. I had been going through countless pairs of 'disposable quality' leather and synthetic gloves, for the most part, every other week. Working in the cold rain, wet gloves are detrimental to having good dexterity and downright uncomfortable to wear for any length of time. I have had goatskin gloves in the past. I like the way they feel, however they wouldn't last long either. Any piece of cow leather, or pig would fail. Considered bison. Then I found Th...

I have (as of now) 2 pairs of the Vermonter Gloves. I bought a new pair in parallel with sending in my first pair to get repaired. wow! quick turn around time and they are back in use. I put new bearings in my chipper and was doing a OP check (Operational check) of rebuilt chipper with my rebuilt (aka- repaired) gloves! I am here to say "...OP Check - SAT..." Dan G.

All around amazing glove topped by super helpful customer service. Only problem is that they’re so nice that I’m a bit hesitant to use them on some of my dirtier projects in the yard. I guess it’s a matter of time before I can feel comfortable putting these gloves into the dirt. Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their old leather.

These are fantastic gloves. I treated them with the recommended leather conditioner upon receipt and went to work the next day in them. The break-in was minimal, and the seams and excess (I have narrow fingers) all found out-of-the-way places to go that weren’t a bother to dexterity or grip. A tight grip around axe handles and the like is so easy, and, for once, I don’t feel like I’m trying to baby my gloves or wait for the hole to develop! The extra thickness is only a benefit, not a detrim...

I’ve only worn these gloves for a little over a month so they’re just now broken in, but I have to say these are exactly what I’ve been looking for. The quality of craftsmanship and material is outstanding. The leather is thick for protection and durability, but yet they fit like a second layer of skin and have remarkable dexterity. I have bought hundreds of pairs of gloves over the past 30 years looking for that one pair that lasts and I have always been let down. But these….these are the ones....

The construction of these gloves is special in ways that are hard to understand until you put one on. Between careful leather selection and perfect seam placement, the fingertips are incredibly tactile even with the extra reinforcing strip. The cuff is easy to adjust and perfect for snow shoveling, winter biking, picking up trash in your local park, etc. The leather is excellent all around, waterproofs extremely well (between yard work on snow-melty days and biking in the rain I haven't seen one...

I bought the flatlander specifically to bring to Japan when I go to the bamboo forest to harvest bamboo for a bamboo tower that is constructed yearly at the Kamo Izumi sake brewery for the Saijo Higashihiroshima Japan Sake Fest. They call it Takezake or bamboo sake. A tower is constructed out of many wide-radius bamboo columns with one of them ramrodded out and cleaned to create a tank into which sake is poured, with a spigot at the bottom to dispense the sake into the festival-goer’s bamboo cup...

Love the quality look and feel. Definitely a well built glove. That being said, I hope they break in and “relax” a bit with some use. Kind of stiff initially but I definitely have high hopes for these gloves. A co-worker is ordering the Uphill Skier based on my discussion with him about my Vermonter gloves. We both do excavation, demolition and underground utility work, so good gloves are a must, especially in the cooler weather we get.

I use these in conjunction with other thermal gloves to help negate wind when gathering cattle on horseback or hunting stationary. Anything where little movement affects hands quickly. They take an already good set of thermal gloves to the next level. I haven’t used them with leather work gloves yet. I love the pride these individuals take in making their products in the United States and it’s worth the extra $5 or so compared to foreign alternatives. Be warned, these gloves do not seem super du...

It took me a long time to commit to the price of these gloves. I'm not disappointed. First, they are thicker than I expected. The interior leather is velvety smooth. They are very comfortable, actually comforting. As thick as they are, you have pretty good dexterity. I use them on my farm everyday. I mostly wear them while chainsawmilling. I wish I could afford to buy another set to keep waiting. . My favorite part is they are outseamed. I have long enjoyed outseams on motorcycle gloves...

These Vermont-made goat leather gloves are an absolute ripper for someone like me, shredding the Snowy Mountains and tackling farm life. Whether I’m bombing down slopes on my snowboard, slogging up backcountry on my splitboard, wrestling with firewood, or wrangling farm chores, these gloves are tougher than a roo in a boxing ring. The quality is top-notch—soft yet burly goat leather that molds to my hands like a second skin, offering a fit so perfect I forget I’m wearing them, and they’ve shrugg...

Don't think I could be anymore smack dab in-between sizes! Last year I bought a pair of small chopper mitts and used them in all season. Because of how tight my chopper were when I first started using them I went with a size medium lined Tuthill's. Even though I've already conditioned and waxed them, the medium's are too big and I should have stuck with the smalls. I'll make it work but just another friendly reminder to triple check your size and don't hesitate to reach out to them for their ...

These are the best work gloves. Nice thick leather to protect you from the fierce thorns we have in upstate NY! And putting the seams on the outside means your hands are comfortable on the inside. Brilliant! And they just get better and better the more you wear them.

The repair was expertly done. They ended up fixing both gloves not just the one that had a hole in it so that I could keep partying on. I love that they repair their products. It says a lot about a company that makes something in the USA (let alone VT) and stands behind it. Sure I could’ve bought another pair of gloves but now I dont have to throw these away. We need more companies to do this. Love my gloves and will likely get more when I cant have these fixed anymore.

The newly revised, Vermont Glove SIZING CHART is a keeper ! That handy, turquoise dot now shows EXACTLY where to plunk down the pencil-eraser ‘gauge’ on the cartoon, hand silhouette. I quickly realized I had been unwittingly CHEATING the chart by sliding my hand ever so slightly upward… covering the purple ‘warning track’ & putting my gloveless mitt way out there in uncontested MEDIUM finger territory ! ( Which coincidentally matched my official MEDIUM hand-width as measured on the side… ;) ...

Someone gave me these gloves as a gift. The sizing was easy, though I was a little skeptical that a trace of my hand would be accurate… these are the best fitting gloves I’ve worn. Durable, comfortable, high quality, and more dexterous than you’d expect from how they look.

Just starting to get broken in! We had a runaway tow-behind mower that I had to lean over to kill the engine when it stopped in a blackberry bramble. Not only do the gloves protect from the brambles but, as you can see, they kept my hand from getting torched when I had to lean across it to shut it off! Also, Lauren in customer service was super helpful in making sure I got gloves that fit my long fingers! Love these gloves!

The only work I DON'T use them for involves my laptop. So glad I pulled the trigger on these amazing gloves. And, as a woman, I was so grateful for the choice of a Short in my size. Keep doing what you're doing. If every business out there was like Vermont Glove the world would actually work and function...very well in fact.

Gloves are as awesome as their customer service! I haven’t gone back for another pair of gloves as these have definitely lasted me. They even put up with some light welding when I forget to put on my welding gloves and they’re fine, real Work gloves that last. Super tough!!! would definitely recommend, a definite buy it for life solution!!!

So far, so good! I was sick of buying the cheap big box store packs of work gloves and wanted something higher in quality. But I have broad hands, so I'm always a full-size difference between my fingers and palm. The bespoke glove kit was perfect. It took about a month to get them after I sent in the tracing of my hand and they fit perfectly! The goat leather is a lot more supple than I was expecting. They feel great to use. I can't speak to longevity as I've only had them for a week, but I'm no...

The quality of these gloves is simply unmatched. The outer can be a bit of an annoyance at first but it does roll back when they break in. They can get a bit warm on hot days but the comfort, durability, and protection is amazing!

Finger holes were repaired with large patches. Areas of wear but not yet holed were patched and reinforced. These are by far the longest pair of work gloves I’ve had.

I absolutely love these gloves. I had holes on several of the fingertips, so I went to your website and saw that I could send them in for repair. Your crafts people fixed, not only the holes, but repaired every single finger! Thank you so much!
