I have the green dried salt but was curious about the fresh type so i ordered it and it arrived in semi flat clear sealed containers . That same evening i made a huge mixed salad and i cut up into half inch pieces the fresh green salt and added it to the salad , it gave some crunch to it and added a salty taste to it that was not a typical salt taste , it was more herby , sea salty and i loved it . We are both restricted in salt and are very careful how much we use. The green salt has helped a lot in my baking and food preparation. The flavor is great and very very similar to white salt with half the negativity and with the addition of some minerals.

Supposed to limit my sodium intake. Snack on lots o popcorn, spiced up with nutritional yeast, red chili and lotta green sald. Take this to lotta potluck events. Everybody likes it. Tell em to google green salt and get some. I'm hearing back that many are doing so. Glad for all a yall.

I have been using "Green Salt" for some time now, & I'm really pleased at how satisfying it is! The similarity to actual salt makes it an easy switch in every way. It enhances food flavor without the downside of regular salt. Just love it!

So far I am finding that I am using my Green Salt every day and it is definitely helping me cut back on my salt intake. It has a nice salty flavor with a bit of umami. Great for soup and it even passed my challenge of straight on a bagel with cream cheese and tomato. Great addition to my kitchen!

I was a little nervous about trying this product being a salt lover. When I tried it on it's own I wasn't impressed, but when I cooked anything with it I tasted no difference between it and regular salt. I will continue using this.

It’s a great addition to my kit. I’ve been testing the difference on many cuisine and have notice two things. First, it can change the flavor profile of your food so test on a small batch. Second, it takes a little bit more to meet the usual salt needs of your food. The flavor is incredible. Not surprising that seafood takes this salt very well. I find it’s best use is as a finishing salt. Also looks great for plating.

Green like Money....YES!, Green salt has healthy value! The taste has a delightfully mild flavor as opposed to the sharp pungent taste of white salt. Best of all, it has protein, B3, and fiber. As I stated, "Green like Money!"

This is a wonderful find for us. I love the taste. Just had it on our steaks and corn on the cob last night. Oh so good. Not so good for baking desserts, but I reduce the amount going into those anyway. Bought 2 bags in my first purchase and gave one to friends that were told by their doctor to reduce their sodium. They eat way more salt than us, so I hope this helps them. Great product!

I only used Himalayan salt but now that I tried this product, I feel that it enhances the taste of my grilled vegetables much better and you can't dispute the fact that it's healthier. Unfortunately, the price is way too expensive for what it is. There are other brands out there that are cheaper, so I'd like to see an adjustment in the price.

It has its own taste like everything does however I have used it on all the same things I used salt on and it tastes good. I keep trying it on different things. Green Salt has been very helpful in my quest to cut back on salt in my diet. There is a slight grassy flavor that I have noticed with some foods, but it doesn’t bother me, I like it. In cooking, I haven’t found a difference in taste. I love that I am not only getting less sodium, I’m also getting more nutrients. I almost always choose a salty snack over a sweet one, so I was dreading cutting back on salt. Now, I can buy unsalted potato chips and green-salt them!

This is the first "salt substitute" that I and my whole family enjoy eating. It works great as a topping that you sprinkle on after you cook your dish and it's on your plate. The taste or flavor is just more intense when it's used in this way. Overall, I love it and will continue to use it. It has the closest thing to salt that I've tried and it doesn't have a nasty aftertaste. I also like the health benefits that Salicornia offers all on its own. Green salt is transformative in perhaps more ways than we initially realize. Having organic sodium, i.e. sodium that is "packaged" in a healthy vegetable with fibre, phytonutrients and especially magnesium, is a massive upgrade from the inorganic sodium we consume as table salt. I really enjoy the taste of the green salt. So glad I got to try it and now is a stapler in our menue: over steamed/stir fried veggies, salad dressings, eggs. Avocado toast with fresh tomato/ cucumber , roasted veggies….. the possibilities are endless!

Love it, love it ,love it! I didn't really expect to like the green salt much but it's delicious! No it doesn't taste fishy or like minerals. It's lightly salty and perfect without the guilt or worry of adding more to taste. I will be purchasing a large package soon!

Ordered this because I was recently put on a low salt diet due to Meniere's Disease. I was skeptical because I had tried other salt substitutes, but GreenSalt works very well. It tastes salty on my finger, and I've used it on fresh tomatoes, avocado toast, fried eggs and in cooking a variety of foods. It has worked well in everything I've tried it in or on. This green salt has been a lifesaver. My husband is on a renal diet and have to keep sodium to a bare minimum so food taste bland despite the spices I use.
