I purchased this for my mother who is on a highly sodium-restricted diet. I was hoping to get her something she could sprinkle on eggs or a baked potato that would give her the salty taste without all the sodium. So far, she says she loves the flavor Green Salt brings to foods.

I was really curious when I saw salt that was “green” and I had to try it! And I’m glad I did! It might take a little getting used to shaking out green salt when you are used to seeing white salt(I opted to receive their biodegradable green salt shaker, worth getting!). But once you do, it’s a very pleasant change. You are getting the salt flavor you love and all the organic healthy extra minerals & nutrients you might not get in regular table salt. Thank you- I’m sold!

I wanted to use less sodium so was excited to hear about green salt. After using it for a few weeks I can honestly say it has been a great find! It adds flavour and enhances food as does salt yet is much healthier. I use twice as much as I would have for salt for the great taste.

I have a health condition that requires that I eat a low sodium diet. I’ve never eaten a high-salt diet, but food was surprisingly bland without salt. Green Salt is a great substitute—gives a hint of saltiness along with a nice “warmth” of umami, with a fraction of the sodium. Great addition to my low sodium diet!

I love salt, knowing the sodium is not good for me or my husband, It was always a concern. When I saw the advertisement for green salt, I thought, what a great concept. I ordered Green Salt on the enthusiastic recommendation of a friend, who is a wonderful cook. What I've found using it, is that it not only replaces table salt, but also adds a wonderful subtle flavor of its own. It is possible that some people who use it won't notice the additional flavor, but for me, it adds so much to soups and vegetable dishes.

It's finer than salt so a little bit harder to control amount used, but doesn't make it taste too salty. I bought 2 bags initially and just today was able to give second bag to my daughter. I used to use Larry's seasoned salt for everything but now it's just green salt for me. Thank you for coming out with this product♡

I have to admit, I was skeptical about buying this, so I purchased the sample packet. It came in approximately 2 weeks and it’s a nice size sample packet. I think this is a great alternative to regular salt and has a wonderful flavor. I’m certain I’ll buy a larger bag next time!

The only thing we do not use green salt in/on is when dessert items. And even if dessert directions call for salt, I typically omit it. We love the umami, salty taste of green salt on our meat and veggies. I add it after the food item is cooked. We love the health benefits of using green salt over regular salt.

My experience with green salt has been amazing so far- I prefer the complex flavor over that of regular salt, but appreciate the vastly lower sodium because I have high blood pressure. It has completely replaced table salt in my diet. 6/5!!

I bought Green Salt to aid myself and in particular one of my sons who uses salt excessively in reducing our salt intake. The flavor is wonderful, it has a slight seaweed flavor but nothing that is too distracting. It’s a great salt equivalent.

I have loved Green Salt since I first tried it in powdered form. I loved it so much, I shared with all my family! (I was so enthused that they told me I should be on the marketing payroll!) I was excited to recently receive the fresh herb. I've found that (much like I do with dill, garlic, and onion), I can chop it up, bag it, freeze it, and use it whenever I need it to add to whatever I may cook, from eggs to vegetables, and more. Going plant passed is an adjustment, cutting out all refined sugar it very difficult at first but so is the loss of that savory salty flavor. I love that Green Salt actually tastes like salt and seaweed. I had high expectations and thankfully I was right, it’s a staple in my house now.

Since my husband is on restricted salt because of heart problems I was interested in trying this product. It was shipped quickly and we are very happy with the product. Since it is quite powdery I put it is a shaker with not real fine holes and it works great to shake on the food at the table. It has a nice flavor to it and definitely gives the food a salty taste. We are very satisfied with it and will continue to use it.

I've been using this for a few months and just ordered more. Yes, it replaces salt, yes it adds a lovely, earthy flavor, especially good with eggs. I don't use it to season pasta water or in baking because it doesn't dissolve like salt. Overall very happy with it.
