I put one in my kitchen at home and one in my kitchen in my travel trailer. I think it will be more convenient to get to in a hurry than a fire extinguisher. I can always reach the extinguisher after using the blanket if necessary.

I ordered 4 solar charges for myself and family. They arrived in good time and in good order. I haven't yet checked it out but they were well-packed and look sturdy.
My only suggestion for improvement would be that these days a USB-C cable is more useful than a micro-USB.
Looking forward to using it in action.

Cons- I thought it came with the adapter for phone, and it did not. Took a little longer to ship than I expected because to my surprise it came from China.
Pros- Seems well made, and works great. Also customer service is very good!

It works well. I’ve used it twice now to charge my phone from it being below 20% back to a full charge. I love the flashlight 🔦 option and have used it more for that then charging.
I usually just charge it by plugging it in but it works using the sun. I haven’t explored that option enough yet but it’s great to have with you if you like to hike while listening to music or somewhere where you have crappy coverage and your phone dies quickly.

This is a very handy gadget for storing an extra charge for my iPhone. It’s nice that a charging cable is provided. However, it doesn’t have a multi-device end and cannot be used with my iPhone🙁 I’m sure I will make good use of this solar charger with my own cable, though!

The straps are both connected on same side, unlike the picture. AND, the hook is too small to hold fire blanket and case on to wall surface. It kept falling down so I had to store fire blanket in a drawer. This is not as handy as having it up on the side of my refrigerator, close to the stove.
