I’ve been working out in the Ursus LT’s for about a week and absolutely love them. For being so minimal, I’ve been scared about the durability but so far the suede leather has 1) held up amazing 2) seems to get more durable with more wear 3) is a surprisingly comfy material for a workout shoe. I have been living in my Ursus since the day I got them. I am extremely happy with the way they feel and the way my feet feel. I wear them everywhere with no problems. LOVE THESE SHOES!!!! At first my socks didnt slide into the shoes very well and made my toes extremely uncomfortable. I switched to wool socks and the socks dont grip the inside of the shoe, they slide right in, easy peasy! So I'd recommend against cotton socks, get some good wool socks, i use the Darn Tough brand. Excellent shoe, amazing customer service. Had to order 4 pairs to get the right size and William (customer service rep) was super friendly and responsive. I found the size/length to fit similarly to Chucks. I am a 12 in running shoes (Nike, Adidas, New Balance, ASICS, etc.), a 10.5 in dress shoes (Johnston & Murphy, Rockport), an 11.5 in Chucks / Chuck Taylor… and an 11.5 in Bearfoot. Not as wide as I was expecting. For some one with wide feet to begin with these are not that wide. I would wager that for someone with narrow feet they might be quite roomy. As others have stated the seam in the toe box rubs. I could have gone a half size down if that seam weren't sticking out inside the toe box. I have had the bear foot Ursus for about 18 months now. I wear them in the gym every day and have put them through the ringer. I wore through the insoles in both feet, but I tossed some new insoles in them from another pair of sneakers and they are good as new. I believe I can get another 18 months out of them. I have bilateral bunions 😫😝, wear a size 6 in womens so I got a size 4, and I always have trouble finding shoes that feel comfortable with everyday activities. I’ve owned these shoes for about 3 years now, and I am very impressed. I have used these mostly for powerlifting and erging. I used to be a rower, so when I say I used them for erging, this means for 1:00HR long pieces 2-3 times a week as well as 3X5K workouts, 3x20 minute workouts, and some short interval pieces every now and then.
