This was my first time with one of these kits, and I enjoyed the experience very much. Beware: it takes a certain amount of patience. Test-place all the pieces before gluing. Speaking of glue, it would be great if there were some written tips on gluing: white glue v. superglue, etc. This kit has fragile skinny pieces due to the nature of the garden house with all the windows. And those windows should come with better instructions on how to peel off that one backing side. That took trial & error ...

A very complex but a very well thought out build. I own a brick and mortar hobby shop by profession and I sell model kits to customers of all types and of all descriptions. I say contrary to what you state no 6 through 10 yr old should attempt to build a book nook. Too much for too young. HawkerHobbies.com

All aboooooard! 🚂📣 Let’s take a little trip with this magical 1940’s Train Cabin Book Nook kit! I had a wonderful time building this amazingly detailed set. The lights and all the little details inside are just incredible! I also made a small modification by adding magnets to the front so it can be easily removed for placing figures inside. 🥰 (Thank you, Kirby, for being my model, hehe)

The kit is of very high quality. It arrived on time in mint condition. I’ve done 15 kits in total from different manufacturers. This one is my favorite. - LED-lights have excellent hue - Sturdy pieces with excellent saturation - Interesting composition - Dust cover - Super soothing to build My one caveat is the price. It does cost more than your average nookie.

Putting together my booknook was challenging but so much fun! It’s a great way to spend alone time and is very therapeutic. There’s something really special about seeing a true piece of art come to life with your own hands. The final result is worth the time and effort and I can’t wait to put together more in the future. The Magical Pharmacist was my first book nook but not my last - I’m hooked! It can look a bit overwhelming at first when you open the box, but actually, the instructions are pretty clear to follow. My mom got me this as sort of a wild card Christmas Gift, and after building this, I must say, she succeeded in her gamble! Very well made, wonderful scenery, and (almost) easy wiring and LEDS. Only thing I could complain about is the tower being sorta hard to build, due to how hard it is to snap the pieces together, however, the experience and setup of this was worth it. Will definitely be coming back, with my 25% discount of course :)

An excellent model. The fit, printing and quality of the parts was excellent and it tells a great story. Things for people to think about when building is to look several steps ahead when it comes to placing items such as the desk on the top landing and the balcony railing. I made a error in that I glued the desk too close to the edge and found that I had not left enough space to fit the railings. I was able to engineer the railings to fit around my mistake. My teenage daughter loved making this kit! We had tried a different company previously but it required a lot of additional materials beyond what the kit included and everything had to be cut out with scissors. This kit was terrific! My girlfriend is obsessed with puzzles and Legos so I thought so I bought her the Kyoto Gion as a Christmas gift. NEXT LEVEL joy was immediate. She loved it! I do too! It’s a decorative piece, a functional piece, and a conversation piece all in one. I cannot recommend this set (and others) enough for the builder/puzzler in your life (or for yourself if that’s your bag). So so damn cool! Guess I’m on the hook now for her birthday gift too.

Beautiful, well designed kit. The printed wooden materials are detailed and intricate, and the end result looks substantial, complex, and exquisitely lovely. It takes a lot of patience to put this together, but the satisfaction I felt when it all finally came together was worth it. I had a small problem with the electronic component, and Anarvin’s customer service department was highly responsive and helped me out right away. I am excited to make the Submarine next!

Sehr schön anzuschauen aber die Qualität der Goldfolie lässt zu wünschen übrig. Sie ist viel zu dünn und klebt schlecht auf dem Holz. Der Moror ist viel zu laut und stört. Darum habe ich ein Soundmodul eingebaut. Beleuchtung sollte unabhängig vom Motor zu schalten sein. Ansonsten ein sehr schönes Modell und ein echter Hingucker.
