It was such a fun experience for a beginner, and I did make mistakes here and there with building it, I still had fun either way. I would buy another one again when the time comes.

Loved it. I do recommend buying pack of different style craft tweezers for easy placement along with crazy glue. I wish all the nooks had a dust cover. But it was fun and therapeutic to do. I finished all Japanese themed nooks in a week.

In 2024 we travelled to Thailand and actually stayed in the heart of Chinatown in Yaowarat Road. Your book noon has such attention to detail it was not just the fun associated with building the model, but the memories that came flooding back and we were even able to associate with the signs and names we also encountered during the many walks we undertook. Thanks for creating a realistic, colourful and charming book book of such a enchanting area.

Great time putting it all together. My wife invited herself to the experience and to tell you the truth it was fun working with her on this. In some cases the instructions were a bit difficult to understand what exactly to do like for example separating the lights in the beginning was a little challenging trying to identify which lights go with which group as they’re not labeled. Other than that still a great experience. Definitely doing it again, already shopping for my next kit.

Loved the final product. Found it frustrating to build because the instruction manual didn’t line up at all with the pieces on the balsa wood sheets, and for each step forward, one had to look at each parts sheet to find the part. The wiring was also difficult. It was very hard to get the wires into the configurations shown in the instruction manual so that the walls would fit together properly. Again a great final product, frustrating to build, but worth it.

A long but successful project. I'm impressed at the precision of the fit between pieces. With just a few exceptions everything went together precisely with no ajustments needed. Instructions are mostly clear (a few errors that are easily self corrected). Gluing in some spots definitely is needed (and glue is supplied, contrary to the statement in the description. I’m not done yet, but I love it. The pieces are sturdy and the details are gorgeous.. the instructions are really clear. If I wanted to nitpick, the only thing negative I can say about this kit is that the stickers doesn’t adhere well on round edges, like the drums. Nothing that a bit of glue won’t fix however.

This little Hanok Bakery is absolutely adorable. It was fun to put together. Not too hard but not too easy. It was challenging enough to keep me going but not so challenging that I wanted to quit. Although the roof was a little tedious. My daughter lives in South Korea and I was blessed to be able to go visit her so I have a genuine appreciation for the country and its culture. I would recommend this kit to everyone interested.

Great booknook. Fireplace looks great, motion sensor works exactly as it should, turning on the lights when I walk in the room. Openings at top of enclosure cast light onto shelf above. Anavrin instructions are VERY good, better than others I've done. Musicbox mech works, but is pointless without method of turning it on/off without having to wind it every time. Still, I recommend this kit.

So fun to do! High quality pieces that snapped together perfectly, some extra pieces were also included but I didn’t need to use them. They have great YouTube videos if you’re a visual learner but the instructions in the booklet were step by step and easy to follow. I’ll be ordering another one for sure. Highly recommend.

Sure there are alot of pieces but the instructions are wonderful and make putting together the kit easy. Lighting is simple to do as most of it are sticky strips of LED lights. The kit is expensive but the quality of wood and printing, the ease of construction and final product make it work the money.

I will sawy that i had a hard time with this one specifically because you had to super glue almost every tiny piece and the instructions had you working on the same piece you just glued so be patient, maybe flip a few pages and do that page where nothing has to wait to be glued down. I absolutely loved this kit. If you buy it, take some care to know the led power lines, they can get confusing, and there's not a lot of slack on some, but the kit is really good. The only changes I could wish for are an easy way to keep the gatcha balls from sticking, and one or more of the other lights flickering occasionally.

Thank goodness for the online assembly video. It helped with the electrical assembly although I admit to needing to extend one of the led cables because of a me mistake. The kit looks beautiful on top of the bookcase. We traveled to Japan last September and explored this area while there so appreciate the vibes given off by the representative kit as it reminds us of our adventure to Japan.

I loved this kit. I was very impressed with the quality, and I will definitely be ordering another kit from Anavrin. This took me a little over a day to complete working on it off and on. I love the details, right down to the garbage bags in the back alley and the clothing on the clothesline and the vines hanging from the balconies. The lighting appeared complicated but turned out very well once I followed the well written manual. I definitely recommend this product.
