It looks so beautiful on the shelf and truly lights up the room! I will sawy that i had a hard time with this one specifically because you had to super glue almost every tiny piece and the instructions had you working on the same piece you just glued so be patient, maybe flip a few pages and do that page where nothing has to wait to be glued down. Very cute gift for someone.

It was such a fun experience for a beginner, and I did make mistakes here and there with building it, I still had fun either way. I would buy another one again when the time comes.

In 2024 we travelled to Thailand and actually stayed in the heart of Chinatown in Yaowarat Road. Your book noon has such attention to detail it was not just the fun associated with building the model, but the memories that came flooding back and we were even able to associate with the signs and names we also encountered during the many walks we undertook. Thanks for creating a realistic, colourful and charming book book of such a enchanting area.

Great time putting it all together. My wife invited herself to the experience and to tell you the truth it was fun working with her on this. In some cases the instructions were a bit difficult to understand what exactly to do like for example separating the lights in the beginning was a little challenging trying to identify which lights go with which group as they’re not labeled. Other than that still a great experience. Definitely doing it again, already shopping for my next kit.

Gave these to two friends for Christmas gifts. Both friends enjoyed putting them together, and the feeling of accomplishment they had when completed. They are detailed, unique and a definitely a joy to behold when you display them. A great piece to display on your book shelves or any where else you may want to enjoy them. Loved it. I do recommend buying pack of different style craft tweezers for easy placement along with crazy glue. I wish all the nooks had a dust cover. But it was fun and therapeutic to do. I finished all Japanese themed nooks in a week.

This was a gift for my adult daughter. She and her dad built it together in 4-5 hours over a couple of days. The parts were made well and the instructions were clear. The finished bakery is so cute! So cute, in fact, that I pre-ordered them the next Korean scene for Christmas. I hope you will make more of these as they are such a fun kit! Thank you so much!

I absolutely loved this kit. If you buy it, take some care to know the led power lines, they can get confusing, and there's not a lot of slack on some, but the kit is really good. The only changes I could wish for are an easy way to keep the gatcha balls from sticking, and one or more of the other lights flickering occasionally.

Thank goodness for the online assembly video. It helped with the electrical assembly although I admit to needing to extend one of the led cables because of a me mistake. The kit looks beautiful on top of the bookcase. We traveled to Japan last September and explored this area while there so appreciate the vibes given off by the representative kit as it reminds us of our adventure to Japan.

Enjoyable build. Really a nice looking finished product. Like a lot of decent quality Book Nooks, some of the elements you really don't see in the finished product, but are what makes the assembly fun (example: stuffing actual paper into the manilla folders). The wiring in this was more complex - in that getting the length of the wires exactly right was very difficult (especially the two in the roof). Very challenging to get the length right (no easy way to tuck excess wire anywhere). Be careful...

I loved this kit. I was very impressed with the quality, and I will definitely be ordering another kit from Anavrin. This took me a little over a day to complete working on it off and on. I love the details, right down to the garbage bags in the back alley and the clothing on the clothesline and the vines hanging from the balconies. The lighting appeared complicated but turned out very well once I followed the well written manual. I definitely recommend this product.

Love the finished results. Definitely a difference in quality between this book nook and other brands. It was easy peasy until putting together the door. From then on, there were some challenges but I think it is due to some steps/illustrations weren’t clear. Other suggestion is to add a small piece of sandpaper to the kit. For the price, it should not be an issue. That being said, it is definitely one of my favorite projects. I highly recommend.

I really enjoyed it! The parts were wonderfully accurate and I had no trouble putting it together. I made one mistake - step 34 you put the J16's in horizontally and I didn't notice in step 35 they go in vertically. But that was easy to correct. And I find that the light switch is temperamental and can take quite a few tries to get the light to turn on. But overall I was very pleased with the result.
