I love to travel and love miniatures so when @TheSquaretoSpare showed a tutorial of Anavrin's 1940 train cabin book nook in her youtube channel I just had to have it! The kit is of the highest quality and everything fits perfectly. I loved putting it together and adding my own touches and couldn't be more happier of how it turned out.

Really enjoyed doing this book nook, really well made. lots of extra bits if U break the really tiny pieces. I struggled with the street lights but realised it was me not following the instructions fully as they are really precise. Would definitely recommend doing one.

Enjoyed the build and gifted to my son who lives in Taiwan. Very pleased with the result. Use good glue like “Ultimate” but use sparingly!! The kit included two bicycles that were extremely fragile and oddly out of scale so didn’t use but will keep them for a future project. I love 3D puzzles but have run out of the ones I usually do. I thought I would try a wooden one and this little bookshop was so appealing. I found it very easy to make although making the individual books was a little tedious. The pieces fit together beautifully and overall I would say the product was very well designed and manufactured.

I really enjoyed putting together my book nook. The instructions were clear, the pieces were cleanly cut and all fit together as they should. It took me longer than I thought as you have to wait for the glue to dry before you can move on to the next steps. I was very pleased with the end results and I've had multiple compliments on it! Experienced such a relaxed meditative space within me while putting this magical thing together. Many wow moments with all the amazing details. A new type of meditation for me for sure. My daughter and I really enjoyed assembling this piece Christmas morning. It was recommended for ages pretty far above her age, but we split duties with her locating and separating parts and then “coaching” me on where to glue them. I highly recommend this product.

This was quite challenging to build and I had to use Cyanoakrylat glue in many places. My daughter built the smaller parts but I did the bigger more challenging sections. The build instructions were easy to follow thanks to good schematics. The laser cutting is excellent and no broken parts when separating each part from the jig. The cone for the lower lamp was too big for the scale so I reduced it a lot. My wish is for lights inside the street houses also.

I am super happy with the book nook! It was a Christmas present and it took me about a day to put it together. Since the individual pieces have to be broken out of the larger plates, the edges don't have the same colour as the rest of the piece. I fixed that up by colouring the edges with a marker, and I think it turned out really well! I love how detailed everything is. What a great weekend project! The instructions and materials were much better than expected. There's a perfect balance of pre-cut materials and measure-and-cut supplies to keep it really interesting and satisfying to construct. The only problem was a lack of batteries, but they were easy to procure. I would make another!

This is definitely not a beginner kit, and I highly recommend having tools like tweezers, craft glue, gorilla glue, and a mechanical sander (I used a nail drill, lol) to get the best experience. 🌷 I also found the YouTube video process by Cocobelly DIY really helpful. ☀️
