The pieces are cut so precisely and fit so perfectly, yet the design is intricate enough to offer a satisfying challenge. I’m a professional NYC model maker for 20 some years so I’ve got a super critical eye. I think the model rates about 90 percent excellent. Where it falls short is the sticky backed leather and brass trim. I ended up gluing the leather pieces , the adhesive was sub par, and the brass trim had about a 50 percent adhesive strength making it necessary to burnish constantly Also instructions need to be totally revamped. I found the instructions excellent and the inclusion of many extras of the more delicate pieces, gave me confidence that any breakages could be fixed or replaced at no charge. Very accurate pieces that fit together perfectly. Best to use a sharp blade knife on the back of the pieces to cut/ break them from the sheet. Used tweezers to apply glue when required. Instructions are very good with a few minor errors. ie step 229 where piece 277 can go either way as it is printed on both sides however to the top lug is offset and will not mate with piece 234.
