The 1940s Train Cabin is one of my favorite builds. It's easy enough not to get frustrated, but challenging enough to keep me engaged. I absolutely adore how it looks when it's finished.

I love the vintage details in this book nook. It's so adorable! It assembles fairly easily but requires a lot of patience and coordination. Mistakes can pretty much be concealed since there's so much going on and antique-y imperfect things can sometimes work with the vibe. I plan to add my own quirky touches. I can't wait for friends to notice them and take it all in. I definitely want more of these!

Love it, easy assemble and works like it is supposed to. I didn’t give it full stars because the front piece didn’t get printed right and it ruins the whole look. I couldn’t tell it wasn’t printed right, how it would all come together, when I opened the box and checked to make sure all parts were there. When I figured it out, it was almost all put together already. Very bummed because it is really cool otherwise!

I am happy with the result of this kit, but the process of making it was very frustrating. The instruction booklet had numerous errors, mislabeled parts (sometimes three or four different pieces labeled the same number on a page), and photos that were reversed compared to the actual pieces. There were also several places where new pieces were not called out to be added. The worst example of this was the cat on the rooftop. It was a nice kit but I felt it was overpriced. The movement aspect was a lot of work and didn’t make a lot of sense or add that much to the model.

While there was a mistake with the postage, when I got in contact, it was resolved very quickly, can not complain about the customer service! The book nook is amazing and takes a while to construct, which is part of the charm.
