I love the idea. That’s why I got it for my daughter. She got it together in about 3 days. When she turned on the lights it started smoking horribly and a light burned out. I’m withholding judgement until we see how customer service responds.

This is definitely not a 'beginner' item. I loved every second of assembling it. The directions are mostly pictures and a bit confusing at first, but you get the hang of it. You'll spend many hours on this, so if that's not your thing, then don't buy it.

As a lover of miniatures, I had to try this kit when I saw it. This is my first motion book nook! It took me a few hours to assemble, but it was very entertaining and rewarding. It was lovely, and I will definitely be getting more of these kits. Highly recommend it.
