I got this 1940's Train Cabin book nook as a gift for my father-in-law, and he’s excited! He absolutely loves assembling it and is having a great time being creative. He’ll finish it soon!

Some pieces are fragile but I believe anyone of any skill level could manage it. The instructions were mostly good, except for the confusing lighting diagrams. I figured it out though. There were no missing pieces. It was fun to build. It feels more fragile than others I've worked on, but it’s well made and looks nice.

This is the best DIY I've done so far. It turned out super beautiful, and the lights work great. The instructions are a bit tricky, and the pieces are small, but my small hands made it easier.

I wanted to include some pictures, but I’m working on it with my girlfriend, and it’s hard to carve out the time. Here is my experience thus far. It's certainly a fun mix between a puzzle and a model. It was more in-depth than I had originally assumed, with a lot more pieces and time needed to assemble. This is not a bad thing as it continues to give us something to work on together. We haven’t broken any pieces yet but I am being careful and doing some precutting on the backsides of the pieces ...

If you've always dreamed of making pillows, teacups, and roses for ants, then this is the product for you. I'm pretty crafty and was looking for a new project when I stumbled upon this. Read some reviews and figured it was right up my alley. I have to say it is extremely challenging if you've never done anything like this before. Everything is soooo small. I've spent a good 4-5 hours a couple of times a week for three weeks working on it, and I'm still nowhere near being done. It is very tedious...

I haven’t built it yet but I looked inside the box and nothing was broken. It came exactly as promised. I can’t wait to get my glue and start building it!

Love this miniature Ginzan Onsen. It’s like a puzzle giving me days of interest and meditative time. If you enjoy building models and puzzles, you should enjoy this book nook.

Honest review: was super skeptical because of instagram ads and also third-party sellers that were half the price, but I’m glad I went with the real deal and paid $$$. The build of the pieces was pretty quality, and I loved the intricacies in the design. Each piece was intentional, and even though it might not be visible in the finished product, it left me feeling very satisfied. It certainly took me and my wife several hours to complete, as the product does indicate 5-6 hours of build time. We ...

I didn't really have any problems with it, but it's definitely a bit of a slow process and takes some time. Still, it's a cute little model meant to be worked on whenever you have a moment. I got so into building it that I spent the whole day on it! I love the vintage look of the train and all the little details. It's a neat touch that it actually moves. Now it's proudly sitting between two books on my shelf.

My train cabin book nook came out so beautiful and the detail is so intricate. It was really fun to put together and the pieces fit together like they were supposed too.

I am pretty sad about the money spent on this purchase…I was following directions, putting the paper roller together. When I went to place the rubber band spindle in the corresponding hole in part 36, it broke very easily. Now there is no way to assemble the paper roller properly. I felt like I wanted to cry! I spent a lot of money on this! I feel like it would have been beautiful, I was enjoying the process until this happened.

Got one of these for Christmas, and my daughter adored it, so we decided to do another. It's a bit pricey and a challenge to assemble, but the end result is stunning.

This is an incredibly fun puzzle. My daughter and I (Dad) had an amazing evening in awe of how this all came together as we progressed! Thank you i look forward to the next one! And planning our trip to Japan!

I'm definitely buying more. This was so fun to put together. The instructions were okay, but not perfect and it's a bit expensive. Can't say how it compares to cheaper options, but I'd recommend it if you're willing to splurge!

It was fun putting Ginzan Onsen together! It took me around 14 hours to finish this. The instructions were a little confusing sometimes, but if you play close attention to detail, they're good! Overall, it's a super enjoyable product!

This is another excellent Anavrin kit, with exquisite engineering. As others have mentioned, it’s crucial to follow the instructions closely. If parts don’t align or come out crooked, it usually means something wasn’t done correctly. While I’m not a fan of the toothpicks, using needle nose pliers helps make them easier to handle and is key to ensuring everything works properly. Once completed, it functions great. Highly recommended!

I spent 3 days assembling this charming book nook and it was worth every second! Went together like a dream, looks exactly like the picture, and is a joy to look at. Thank you!

I decided to surprise my wife with this for her birthday! Even though we ended up spending almost a whole day putting it together, the assembly process was quite enjoyable! A little tip, you might want to have a fresh nail file or sanding strip handy, as well as some thin super glue. The instructions are very detailed, but if you need extra help, they have assembly videos on their YouTube channel that you can check out. They were really useful for us!

This Ginzan Onsen book nook is worth the money and your time! It’s a lot of fun and will definitely test your patience, but it’s a blast! Whether as a great gift or a standout piece for your favorite shelf, it’s a fantastic choice.

This one was a really fun build! I've done a lot of book nook, 3D puzzle, and dollhouse kits, and this one really stands out as unique and enjoyable. The moving scenery is just genius! I definitely recommend this Ginzan Onsen book nook!

This was incredibly detailed, well-made, and the instructions were thoughtful. The final result was really worth it, and I had a great time building it with my adult son and niece. It took us about 3 days. There were a couple of tricky steps, but nothing we couldn’t overcome—we just had to be patient (and not afraid to sand down some parts to make them fit easier!). Thank you Anavrin for the wonderful book nook!

I haven’t completed my Train Cabin book nook yet caus I can only dedicate a few hours each week to it. However, it’s been a lot of fun so far! The instructions are excellent. I’m likely to purchase another model from Anavrin once I’m done with this one.

I suggest you watch their YouTube video instructions before starting. I didn’t and learned the hard way. It turned out beautiful and was fun, but it was a struggle. The moving scene is awesome too.

We have a bit of an addiction to book nooks and miniatures. This one better than most we done. The paper and painted wood pieces are higher quality Some instructions were missing but wasn’t too hard to figure out. Not for newbies, but very fun and cute when finished.

The instructions could be clearer, and some of the numbers are a bit confusing. But I managed to work through it. Just a heads up keep a nail file and a cutter nearby in case you need to coax some pieces out. This is my second time building one.

The instructions were a bit hard to follow & I had to do a lot of trial and error. It was enjoyable to put together but my set was missing the back piece. ETA - I changed my rating because the seller promptly sent the missing part. Thanks!

I’ve never worked on a miniature, but I’ve always loved them! My son and daughter-in-law gave me this at Christmas, and it took me a few months to do more than flip through the booklet and look at the instructions. The instructions aren’t very helpful, but I found helpful videos on YouTube. I completed my Train Cabin yesterday, and I'm happy with the outcome! I made a few minor changes as I went along and learned a lot. If I do another one, I’ll know what to look for and be more flexible with tw...

I had fun doing this project. It was a bit hard on my eyes and fingers sometimes, but the instructions were mostly clear. Even though I missed some small things at first, it didn't really mess up how it turned out. I only noticed my mistakes, nobody else did!

I really love this kit but it's definitely more on the advanced side. There's quite a bit of light wiring involved and some of the wooden pieces are delicate to remove. Nevertheless, the end result is beautiful. Plus, most of the smaller paper-type items were pre-cut, making things much easier. It's a unique build, unlike many others. While it will take some time, the beautiful end result is worth it.

Ginzan Onsen book nook is by far the hardest book nook I have even assemble. You will need plenty of time, space, organization and observation skills, and a bit of patience. But the kit is well made and the pieces fit together nicely. Take your time and enjoy this build!!

I haven't had the time to put this together yet, but it looks like it will be fun when I do. I want to get a bookshelf that's just right for it. It looks like it may take a few days to complete and might be a bit complicated, but I'm looking forward to it.

This moving train book nook looks really nice when it’s done, though it took a bit longer than the instructions said. I’m really happy with how it turned out. If you enjoy puzzles, you’ll probably enjoy putting this together. It can be challenging, but finishing it is really rewarding.

I was going to give it to my mom as a kit because she likes building these. But when I saw it, I knew it would be a bit too advanced for her. So I built it myself. It was more fun than I expected and only took a week of evenings. She loved opening her Christmas gift this year. :)

The JiuFen Old Street Book Nook was such a fun build. I love how aesthetic and on point to the JiuFen old street it actually is! It’s such a cosy book nook that fits just right on my shelf. Added bonus, there’s loads of cats!

Just finished...about 30 days to complete. Loved the project, glad all the lights worked. Only downside was most wood pieces were warped, but oh well.

Just started it and not sure if I have all the directions. There is a book with step by step picture instructions but nothing else even on line. I am not sure how to do the lighting when I get to it. But overall I love the kit.
